What about Viactiv? or is that the wrong kind of calcium?

THIS IS MY TIME!!!!!!!!!!!
I love the way Viactiv tastes, but it is Calcium Carbonate which needs the stomach acids to be absorbed. For those of us that have had RNY, we don't have those acids anymore and cannot absorb the carbonate form. So, it would be a waste of $$$, and your body would not be getting the calcium that you were trying to give it. I'm not sure if other surgeries can have the carbonate. Maybe lap band could?
