Slim Fast Low Carb?

I noticed this drink the other day and wondered if anyone has tried it? Slim Fast low carb-Vanilla 180 Calories 20 g protein 4 carbs What seems to be the tastiest protein powder?

Its really personal preference... somebody will love one and another will think its nasty. Places like Earth Fare sells protein samples so its a cheap/easy way to check out a lot of proteins. I tried the premixed slim fast lo-carb drinks and it wasnt pretty... I was strapped to the potty after drinking only 1/2 of one.

First visit to surgeon - 288 ~ bmi 45.1
2 week pre-op 252 ~ bmi 39.5
Total lost - 153 Since surgery - 117!
Goal weight - 155 (mine) 180 (surgeons)
Current weight - 135 (2020 I lost 10lbs due to dedicating myself to working out more and being in better shape)

1/14/2025 still maintaining 135 :-)

I tasted this trying to find something for after surgery. GAG!!! It was awful. I'm digging the Atkins Advantage drinks. All four flavors are yummy to my taste buds. :)

*HIJACK* - sorry Robin Hey Beck!! 19 more daze!!!!!! Whoo Hoo!!!!! Can't wait to be a loser with you!!!!! What have you been doing to prepare for your new life? I have stocked up on Unjury chocolate, vanilla, unflavored protein powder. Darcie (who looks phenomenal, BTW) gave me some PB Chocolate & Creamcycle protein powder. I bought bandages, chewable everything, biotin for hair loss, tape measure to keep track of my "losing inches & not pounds." Chrystal lite lemonade single serve packs, etc. What's your plan? Am I forgetting anything I may need? Do tell!! Can't wait, sistah!!! xoxo Mare

I haven't tried this particular Slim Fast. I too drink the Atkins Advantage (chocolate royale) from Walmart. Tastes great and there is only 1 gram of sugar in the whole thing. The other flavors are good to me too. I couldn't ever find a protein powder that I liked so I always bought the tasteless kind and mixed it in whatever I was having. Good luck to you. Donna

Blech. I tried the Slim Fast low-carb chocolate and absolutely hated it. :( But to be fair, I hate pretty much all of the protein drinks. I never was a picky eater...guess I'm a picky drinker though! :)

I used the low carb slimfast. I didn't really like them, but I am another protein shake hater. I bought a 4 pack when I had my TT for extra protein, but I think I only used 2 cans. I made a concoction one can low carb slimfast chocolate, one scoop anywhey for extra protein, ice and water to fill the shaker cup up. I probably used this combo until I was a year out. Belinda
