Surgery Postponed

My doctor called today and said my surgery has been postponed due to medical reasons. So much for running around getting ready for surgery on Monday.  Now I have a couple of more months to wait and then check again to see if I can have it.  This is so disappointing.  I really wanted this surgery and to think I was only 5 days away.  I mean, I was already cleaning my closet and everything.   Dang all.  

Don't let this discourage you.  Hang in there.  I am a firm believer that it will happen when the time is right for you.  Keep us posted.  Everything will work out!!!!!!!             Donna

While the reasons aren't always apparent, just trust that everything happens when it is supposed to.  I know it's heartbreaking at the time, but keep the faith!

(((((Scrapn4me)))))  I'm sorry to hear this.  I can't even begin to imagine how disappointed you must be.....  Try not to get too discouraged.  Try your best to follow your doctors reccomendations on what you can do to get healthy and be prepared for surgery.  Best wishes to you!!  i'll keep you in my thoughts, Kelly :)

I'm so sorry for your disappointment. I'm glad that they are being cautious and it sounds like it's not off, but post-poned, so I look forward to hearing that you have the all clear in the spring.

I'm sorry Terri!  I know you were ready to get the surger and begin your new life.  I firmly believe that everything happens for a reason and God will let the surgery happen for you when the time is right.  Hang in there and do what you need to do to get healthy and your surgery will happen.  Alice
