Hey girls! I posted some more new pics from our trip to Myrtle Beach this weekend. I am officially a "thirty-something" now and it'**** hard. I went in Friday to get my license renewed and found out I needed glasses! Happy Birthday to me-- your old, get glasses. *hehe* I've never worn glasses in my life. Anyway, still doing well as far as WL. I'm down 66 pounds since surgery and 105 total and feeling great! I hope you all are doing well... Talk soon! :) --Melinda

A belated Happy Birthday to you! Love the new pics and your hair! You are looking great. :) I say go for contacts. I've worn glasses for as long as I remember and I finally converted to contacts in 2000. I haven't looked back since. See you later! Becky

Thanks girl! I have thought about contacts, but so far I'm only using the glasses while driving... I'm nearsighted, so up close is fine so far. :) I've been told, Ill convert to all the time eventually. we'll see. As for the hair, my friend straightened it for me-- I have naturally curly hair and rarely wear it straight-- but I think it turned out great! Now if I can just learn how to do it like that myself! *hehe* See you at support group! Not much longer until it's YOUR TURN!!! :)

Happy Belated Birthday and welcome to the world of thirty something!!! You look great. I love the pictures. Definately try to get on a workout routine. That was the hardest thing for me to do ( I have 4 small kids and I kept using them as my excuse). I now workout at the local YMCA 3 times per week and I love it. I am really glad you are doing well. Talk to you later. Donna Oh by the way... Do you ever go to the support groups meetings at Dr. MacDonald's office? I have never been but I was thinking about going.

Thanks, Donna. I'm trying to get in the workout routine-- I know i'll lose more if I do. We have a treadmill at home and free weights, so that is what I've been doing. As far as the support group-- yeah I go! It's at Southern Surgical on the first Wednesday of the month. it's a great group of people and Becky (above) goes also! There are a few others on this board that go I think. Anyway, we'd love to see you there!!!
