How long have you not been exercising? You said you "started back" and you're not too far out post up, so that may be a key element. When did you quit exercising and what were you doing? What sort of exercise are you doing and how often?
Exercise and getting that heart/blood pumping aids in metabolism... I'd take a look at that piece of things... it's as important as the fuel you put in and my doc asks me more questions about what exercise I'm doing than what I'm eating!
Commit to moving that booty...EVERY day. (When you read this, if you haven't exercised today, get right up and do 20 jumping jacks.) Find a few things you love and it won't be a chore. I do everything from water aerobics to tap dancing (in my living room when it's cold out on my patio) to twirling my old baton in the yard! I close the blinds and put in a DVD or sometimes just my iPod in my ears and dance nekkid... I'm not one to walk on a treadmill (BORING) so I walk outside. I walked 3 miles yesterday in the blistering cold and LOVED it. I'm not one to ride a bike (regular or stationary). I need variety when it comes to exercising... you have to make it part of your daily routine, just like taking a shower and dressing for work. Maybe I'll start a post on what others do for exercise to give each other ideas!
