Hello.  I am new to this forum.  I am trying to get everything in order to have the fobi pouch done sometime in March.  I live in the Raleigh area, about 20 minutes south in a town called Angier.  I am having the surgery done in Concord with Dr. Bauman or Pirrello.  I have written about myself in my profile.  I am a college instructor.  I need support and will give support.  Check out my profile to find out about me.  I did the my story section very differently.  Thank you. Jamie Lynn

Welcome Jamie Lynn: Loved reading your profile. Very clever story! Glad you have found the strength and desire to fight this battle. It will be so worth it in the end when you are able to overcome and avoid many of the illnesses that will come your way through obesity. Congratulations on making a decision to win this battle. lIt also looks like you are lucky to have your "prince" by your side as you embark on this journey. Glad you have joined us here on the NC boards! Lisa

Welcome, Jamie!  Loved reading your story.  It's good to have a grip on the games the Evil Queen in all of us plays.  I am looking forward to each chapter as your story continues to unfold.

Hello Jamie Lynn, I loved reading your story. I think we have all had our battles with that queen. I am so glad you are considering the surgery. I had mine in October of 2007 and I feel better than I have in years and I am only 3 months out. Good Luck and Welcome!
