Hi everyone!!!     Sorry I've been MIA for the past couple of weeks.  So much is going on!!!  Scott and I have moved to a bigger and much better apartment and have just now gotten our internet and cable hooked back up (I've been having withdrawl symptoms, I swear!!).  We moved in rain, sleet and snow.  Yeah, the postal service ain't got nothing on us ~ LOL!!!!  On top of all that excitement, I have been battling a bladder infection I think and last night after a nice dinner out with my sweetie, I thought I was dying because my stomach ached so bad ~ like maybe an ulcer type pain .  Just what I don't need!!!  And I ate grilled chicken and some salad so it's not like I had anything I hadn't eaten before.  Who knows! Anywho, hope everyone is having a great 2008 so far.  I know that I am even in spite of all my ailments!  When I stepped on the scale this morning, I weighed 206 lbs!!!!!  I AM ONLY 1 MEASLY POUND AWAY FROM LOSING 100 LBS!!!!!!   How awesome is that?????   I can't believe it.  My 6 month surgiversary was on Jan. 10th and while I had hoped to reach that milestone by that date, I surely ain't gonna complain!!!!  I was wondering if someone could make me a century card cause I believe I am gonna need it within the next couple of days! (hint, hint Jennifer!!)  I can't hardly believe that I am only 7 lbs away from Onederland!!!  It just does not seem possible.  Congratulations to everyone on all their fantastic success.  You all are awesome and I come here whenever I need inspiration.  Y'all are the greatest!!! Hugs, Donna

Donna, That's GREAT!  You and I started at exactly the same weight, so I'm gonna keep an eye on you to see how your losses go since we're in the same ballpark... so your 100 mark will be mine too!  Can you exhale out all the air inside and squeeze in that last pound this morning?  LOL You're 3 months ahead of me as I celebrated my 3 month surgiversary yesterday.  Do you remember what mark you were at when you hit 3 months?

(I try that sometimes when I'm right on top of a mini goal and trying hard to hit it.)   Hope all those ailments subside and you're feeling tip top to celebrat that century mark in the coming hours!!!

Wendy, If I remember correctly, I believe I was somewhere around the 65 lb mark at 3 months out so you are right on the mark!  I don't exercise regularly like I should (bad, bad me!!) and if you are doing that, then you will most likely be ahead of me at your 6 month mark.  I need to step it up and really concentrate on my exercise and protein intake because I want to look good this summer and actually wear shorts out in public!! Thanks for your kind words and keep up the good work ~ you are doing great!! Hugs, Donna

Gurlie, Get on that exercise!  It makes a big difference.  I made myself get on that as soon as I could after surgery and glad I did.  I joined a Y that's 21 miles each way from my drive so it's not easy (or cheap at $3/gallon gas) to go, but I love the water aerobics.  Also, if you start walking now while it's cooler, by the time warm weather rolls around, you'll be in the habit of walking and won't use that as an excuse (like I've done).  Plus, you'll be that much lighter by hot weather time so the heat won't seem as bad! Grab Scott and that handsome son and tell them they are going WITH you... and hit it.    Or turn up the music and dance, dance, dance in the living room... Start today!  Don't put it off one more day... OK, hope that helped motivate ya just a bit.

Hey girlie!!!  You can certainly get a Century Card.  :)  I will work on it today.  We are supposed to be snowed in here in NC anyway, so at least I have something to do besides watch TV and clean!!!   :)  Shoot me your email address to [email protected] so I can send it back to you!! And hey... CONGRATS on the 99 pounds!  :)  You rock Donna!!!

Hi Donna, Sorry to hear about the health probelms, but it sounds like you're keeping an eye on things, so hopefully you're feeling better soon. In the meantime, you have phenomenal success to focus on!  Essentially 100 pounds in 6 months...that's so great!  I hope I can say the same 3 months from now!
