New here...considering WLS
Welcome......I think all of us are a little scared at first, but I think the surgery is the greatest thing. I am so happy. I am 4 weeks out. No problems. I got so much support and great info from the ladies here. Now, I can put my 2 cents worth in. I wish you the best of luck on your journey! Tell you cousin to come here too for some support. We have big old hearts and enjoy supporting each other.
Karen,
Welcome! I am fairly new here too and waiting on a date to be set for my surgery. You will find that almost every one here is helpful and supportive. Just yesterday I had a "panic" moment. They talked me of the ledge so to speak-----lol. Who are you thinking about having to do your surgery?
Good luck!
Andra
I too am looking forward to riding again. Chief and I have been having long conversations about our galloping off into the sunset. He is relieved that I have had the surgery and will be a lighter passenger. This spring I hope to renew the freedom of riding.
You have come to the right place to get information. Good luck
Myrtis
I have riden since I was 3 years old. In my teens and 20 I even jumped. Not on the show but in my pasture. Always loved them and always will. It has been about 4 or 5 years since I have riden but I am always around them. I cry when my daughters ride off with out me. I hope my time will be soon.
