New here...considering WLS

Hi all, I've been lurking for some time now...lot's of good info on here. You guys look great!!! I am considering WLS. Went to a seminar last night.  Still trying to learn all that I can. I know I can't lose weight on my own. Just very scared. My cousin went with me, she's considering the surgery also.  I'm not considering surgery to become a hot mama...just want to comfortably play with my child and ride horses again! I miss it terribly.  But I have enjoyed this forum, I visit often. Thanks for "listening".

Hey there Karen!!  Welcome to the NC Board.  I'm glad you came out of hiding.  I just got one question... Will it be ok for you to become a hot mamma?  Because you are gonna be after your journey!    It is one of those WONDERFUL sideeffects that I've seen tend to happen.  Especially around here on the NC Forum.  Plenty of Hot Mamas around!   We are here for you...so Good Luck on making your decision.  Look forward to hearing and seeing you more often.   Connie

Welcome!!   Like buttermom said, it's ok to be a hot mamma!  You can be a hot mamma when riding the horse and make people turn their heads with a 'wow'! or even playing with your kids.  But i know how you feel. I don't care if I'm a hot mamma either. I just want to not have to get "speacial seats" when I go to a hockey game. I want to sit with everyone else. Or worry about not fitting in a booth or actually walk into a real store for clothes.  I'm there with ya!   Welcome to the NC board, it's good to have you!

Thanks for the welcome. Yes, it's terrible buying  tickets to take my daughter to an event and worry that I won't fit into the seats. I've had so many embarassments like that. Again, thanks for the welcome. I really enjoy this site.  Karen
