Hi my name is Cari. While I technically live in SC I am in Landrum less than 4 mins from the NC border. I had the lap band in March and am down 100 lbs. I want to know if there are any meetings or support groups in the area near Tryon. Any more ??? just aask

Congrats on your success with the band, you have done awesome! There is also a lapband forum on this site, you can ask about support groups there as well. Anyhow, way to work that band girl, you are already a success, newbies would love to hear about your journey!

All of the big Charlotte Hospitals have support groups.. I know Mercy and Presby does. If you are close to Monroe we also have one there! Welcome to the boards!1
