Hey there, I could never find a protein drink I liked.  There is a recipe forum on this site and I know if you scroll through there are a bunch of Protein shake recipes.  There is a also a memeber that has a seperate blog called ???  Eggface or something like that, and she has some wonderful recipes on her site.  Hopefully someone on here will post it, ot I will try and find it for you.  Good Luck!  Dont ya just love Dr. Enochs?? Edit:  Here is the link  I hope it works for ya: http://theworldaccordingtoeggface.blogspot.com/2007/06/my-fa vorite-protein-shake-recipes.html

Ok I know it's cold outside....but I always like to blend in some peanut butter in mine w/ ice and milk. Also some frozen fruit but now I am a lap band and I have never had problems w/ it. I love choc w/ frozen strawberries. YUMMY!!!! My favorite choc is the Unjury brand. It's really pretty good plain.  Good Luck!!!!!! Hang in there......

Amy -

There are soooo many protien drinks out there ... That said, I never found one I thought was great. But there are some that are tolerable. Once you get out a few weeks, you should be able to get your protien from food and be able to "ditch" the protien drinks. While there are a few that use them alot after the first few weeks, you'll find that most folks actually like to "eat" their protien ... LOL.

GNC has one that is pretty good. It's called American Whey. I get the vanilla and add Hershey's SF choc syrup if I want it to be chocolate. There's another one that is sold at the Vitamin Shoppe. I think it's made by Jim Robb?! I tried the chocolate version and didn't like it too much, but I understand that the vanilla is pretty good. I also have used the one by Designer Whey. You can get that at Trader Joe's or the Vitamin Shoppe.

I hope that helps.

To make your protein shakes creamier mix in a bit of coffeemate (fat free is ok but the regular has almost no fat anyways). I like the ready-to-drink ones better, however they are more expensive. I drink EAS carb control (get thm at walmart) mix in a scoop of body fortress (also at walmart) and add a dollop of coffeemate creamer. It makes a nice creamy rich shake with 40g protein in it. I drink 2 a day + a small regular meal at lunchtime and i stay full
