heartburn?

Hi all. I will be 3 week out tomorrow, but on Monday I got the okay from my surgeon to go ahead ans start soft foods.  And today, I added the Calcium.  All afternoon, I felt like I've had heartburn.  I talk my Nexium everyday.  What can I take for it?

Becky, Wish I knew what to tell ya, but I haven't had heartburn once since surgery.  Maybe somebody will come along soon with some help... maybe let Tums or something like that dissolve or chew?  I just don't know what to tell ya... I'd call my doc at only 3 weeks out. Hope you're feeling better since posting!

Hey Becky,  Sorry that you have heartburn. I know that some surgeon's save's the acid/heartburn producing nerve. My surgeon cuts the nerve, so his patient's don't have that problem. Reenie
