Walking this morning

Ok you guys convinced me about the combo of MetRX and coffee. I had a backup plan. Do you all remember the candy bars named PAYDAY? While ordering off Walgreens.com I saw some payday protien bars so I ordered a few and thought this morning I would try one. The bar does not have any sugar alcohol but is higher in regular surgar but not going over 15grams which is my limit in a serving. It did pretty well got a little yucky feeling and made sure to go to the BR before going. I did great no problem. I think I am going to keep working on what to eat or not before walking. I am not going to stop walking it makes me feel so good and happy.                                                             Annie

Annie -

The reason that you are going to lose the excess weight and not regain it, is that I believe you were a bulldog in a previous life ... LOL. Seriously, I do think it is your persistence that is what will hold you in good stead and health for many years to come.

Congratulations on working that RNY for all it's worth!

You go girl!

Love,

Barb

My mom would agree with you. At Christmas she said I am very determined LOL you know where I got it from. Also my stepfathers driver always said he wanted to come back as one of my dogs.                                                  Annie

Hey Annie, I am glad to hear your feeling better and changing things up worked for you.  I have to tell you, I have been reading about you walking your babies and it has motivated me to start walking mine.  I hate to exercise, so its a start.  I walked 40 mins tonight and I feel great.  Pray I continue, I soooo neeed this.

Hi Rachael, I am so happy to hear my post is helping someone. Walking before wls was a challenge I was having to use a cane for balance. I am just so grateful I can walk without a cane now. I totally love my dogs and I really feel as a responsible pet owner I owe them a walk each day. I feel guilty that it has taken me 4 years to get to the point where I can walk them. We all have to start somewhere and starting is always the hardest part. I have found that if I miss a day for what ever reason I just dont feel as good.                                 Annie
