I am coming out of hiding......LOL

I have been "lurking" around.  I think it is time for me to come out of hiding.  Everyone seems very supportive (Barbara has helped me out with some questions and I thank you very much!) and the posts I read on here about all of the successes people have had is great inspiration to me.  I have my first appointment Thursday Jan. 10th.  I am so excited and very nervous.  I just can't wait to be healthy again and feel much better about myself.  

Welcome to the NC Forum.  You couldn't have picked a better place to come out of hiding.   This is a wonderful support area and these NCers are wonderful.  They have meant the world to me.  Simply the Best!   I look forward to hearing about your journey and look forward to seeing your successes!! Thanks.. it is going quite well.  Praise the good Lord I have had a very smooth ride.  The weight is literally melting off of me and my health is good.  I will have follow up bloodwork on the 10th, so that will show the real picture of how well I am doing.  I feel great.  Just wait.. you will feel great too! Who is your surgeon?  :)

I can't wait until I start to feel great again.  I am glad you have had no major problems and it has been such a success for you.  I am going to Duke WLS.  They have a few doctors there so I am not sure who will actually do the surgery.
