OT: new show: How to look good naked

OK, last night on Lifetime.... a new show called How to look good naked with Carson Kressley premiered and it was really good. It all deals with body perception and how we feel about ourselves and just was a real eye opener. I feel sure it will air again and again before next weeks show. Showtime is 9:00 to 9:30 on Friday nights on Lifetime. Did anyone lese see this? Lisa

Oh My Lisa LOL sounds like the show for me. Lee always ask why do I cover up when he walks in the room. I tell him because I am not perfect well he isnt either. I have graduated to getting in the hot tub in the dark nakid LOL but then Lee startes playing with the light controls. My heart really desires to be a Godiva but havent got there.                                             Annie

I saw it last night and loved it. I think after years of trying to hide or make excuses for our bodies, it has a refreshing take on looking at the reality. We don't need to be stick skinny to be beautiful. The fashion scene has made anyone with more flesh than a hangar seem obese. Time to return to acknowledging that women are supposed to have curves (although maybe mine are a little large). I know even with the surgery I would much rather have 10-20 extra pounds than to be underweight. The struggle is to find a healthy weight and maintain it.

Oh just do what I did... about 10 years ago a friend and I dared each other to put personal ads in the paper (that was before online sites).  The first day mine ran, I got 51 phone calls on the anonymous phone line that ran with the ad.  (Maybe I have a career in writing personal ads!)  The ad was free, but the "catch" was you had to pay to retrieve messages.  There were so many and so LONG, that one phone call was $36! for me to sit and listen to all those messages, and out of them all, I only called 2 fellows. I dated one of them for about 5 months, and he was a NUDIST!  LOL  We did about everything nekkid... (watch TV, cook, drive from his house in Raleigh to mine in Zebulon, etc.)  and I got real comfortable in my skin with him.  He was pretty fit, but was a gem about making me feel good in my birthday suit! I'll have to be on the lookout for this show. Hey Lisa... I watched it last night and was thrilled to see a show like this FINALLY on the air.  I was very impressed.  It really is truelife.  I put myself in her shoes and when she was putting herself in the lineup where she "thought" she should be I totally saw myself doing exactly what she did.  It would be great to be able to really see what we are when we look in the mirror.   It is very tough...but wow...that show what an eye opener!   Also...I was so happy to hear all of the wonderful positive comments about her billboard.  Wasn't that just awesome!?!?!   I heard one young guy say..."Thats a nice rack"... wow... wsan't that wonderful!?!  I look forward to watching it again.   This is a reality show that really IS reality!  Kudos to Lifetime!! I watched it and loved it.  Carson is so funny.  My favorite part was the line up.  By the end of the show he had her feeling so good about herself.  I can't wait for the next episode.
