Back to work

I had my 2 week appointment this morning.  I have lost 16 lbs.  I don't know if that is what I should have lost.  I kind of imagined I would lose more, but 16 is good.  I asked Dr. Naziri, he said he doesn't care about the number.  He was pleased to see that my blood pressure was normal.  I haven't had to take any insulin in a week either.  He told me not to worry.  He said "your gonna lose lot's of weight, more than lots".  He is so nice.  I just some how have it in the back of my mind that I will be a failure, or that it won't work on me.  I am doing what I am supposed to do, so maybe it will work for me too.  I want to thank Ellen for visiting me.  She has been like my role model.  I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and a happy New Year!

Stac!

Congrats!!! I know that you are worried that this won't work either ... I think most of us have that nasty little tape running in the back of our minds when we do this, but I'm here to tell you that it does. I think when we have failed so many times, it's hard to believe that it's real this time, but go ahead ... pinch yourself! See ... You aren't dreaming, it's real! You are on the ride of your life and your life is going to be soooo much fuller.

Wishing you a healthy and happy new year!

Thank you so much for the positive words.  I love your picture.  I can't see where I have lost weight, but everyone tells me that they can tell.  I can't wait until I can see a difference.  I wish you the best and a great new year also.

You'll start to see a difference soon. If you haven't done so already, be sure to take a photo and measurements every month. It will really help you get your head around that fact that you really are changing; especially as you look back. The measurements really help when the scale isn't moving.

Thanks for the compliment re: my photo.

I look forward to seeing you soon.

(((((Stacy))))) Big hugs for you girlfriend!!  Our brains are so against us in this battle!!!  You are doing so good ~~ 16 lbs in 2 weeks is awesome!!!!!!!!!!!  And to have normal blood pressure and no insulin in a week ~~HOW COOL IS THAT???????!!!!!!!!   Hang in there and keep on keepin' on and like the others have said, the weight will just keep disappearing.  You are not a failure and never have been!!  Tell those nasty negative thoughts to take a long walk off of a short pier!!!  And you are so wise to look up to Ellen ~ she is a great role model and an incredible inspiration.  Happy New Year to you too my friend ~~ it's gonna be an incredible year for us all!!! Hugs, Donna
