Five month Pics

Hi Guys! I am back from my trip to Florida.  Came home early.  VERY dysfunctional minus the FUN part. Anyway, I snapped a couple of pix last night to mark my fifth month post-op and updated my ticker.  I can't believe I lost weight after my trip!  I ate a lot of the wrong things, it seemed, but I guess in such minute amounts that it didn't matter.  I am happy to be wearing those "motivational" jeans I bought a couple of months ago! I sure hope everyone enjoyed their holiday.  I am looking forward to a couple more days off before having to go back to the grind.  I need time to re-brief! Should I make (or ask Barbara to make one for me--LOL) a new avatar with that full-body photo?

Suzanne:      You look absolutely awesome. You are wearing something form fitting which shows your loss a great deal more than anything I have seen you in so far.  Glad you are home and all. Keep up the great work and yes, I believe it is time for a new avie. I am going to do some pics soon here as well. I skipped 5 months and Wednesday will be 6 months for me. I have my doctor's appointment with the surgeon then too. Anyhow, girl, you look fabulous. Keep it up.  Take care. Lisa

Oh Lisa, thank you so much for your kind words of support.  I just can't see it, y'know?  But after comparing photos and remembering how much thinner I thought I looked in Sept and now seeing such a difference in December, there is no denying the loss.  Yes, I am starting to try things out that are more form-fitting.  I am getting to the point where I feel lost in the loose things I always wore. Thank you again!

Suz- is that REALLY you????????  WOWWW.  You look great in those jeans!  I remember when you bought them you said "someday", they even look a little loose, hehe.  AM glad you made it to Fla and back safely, I've been thinking of you.  Have a relaxing "rest of vacation" Love, Nanc Noodle

Yes, I have been thinking of you too, Noodle, and wondering how Christmas with your son is going, but didn't want to interrupt your holiday.  When you have a moment, fill me in on all the details. The jeans are not loose, but they DO fit!  LOL  It is amazing to me how much difference there can be in a size from one style to another!  I still can't get into one style of Gloria Vanderbilt size 12 jeans that I bought recently, whereas my sister gave me a pair of Gloria Vanderbilt stretch size 8s and I can almost wear them!  Go figure!

Woweeeeeeee! Look at you, mama!!!! I can't even remeber the last time I wore jeans. It's funny how the thinner you get, the taller you look. (I hope that happens to me.) See you Sunday, love. xoxo Mare PS - Is pot roast okay?

It's been YEARS since I wore jeans and I am loving every minute of it!  Actually, people have been telling me that they never noticed how SHORT I was until I started losing weight!  Again, go figure!  You are the first person who has told me that I am looking taller! Pot roast sounds divine!  Looking forward to seeing you and Mikey!
