Well I'm hanging out here in my luxury suite at Mercy. SO far so good. They said my surgery was "textbook" and I am sore but not too bad. Just wanted to say hi and scootover on that bench :)

Hello Loser, welcome to the bench   :) hummm 2:57 AM-- bet they just woke you up for a blood pressure check , that drove me crazy . I visited the Mercy luxury suites when Pat had surgery WOW NICE place, I wish I had been able to have my surgery there instead of Presby where the room was small and the day nurse staff was down right rude ,,,, oh well, they took good care of me and I am now less of a woman for it Thank The Lord. You take care lay back and let the folks spoil you for awhile, don't forget Walk Walk Walk it helps with the gas . All the best and again Welcome to the new life you have chosen you may at times wonder " why did I do this " but trust me in the long run it will be life saving and you will learn to love your new way of life.

Hey Loser!!!!  Glad to hear you are doing well!!  Start your rounds walking.  My usual route was from my room down to the ICU unit and back.  I got to where I could do that about 4 times before I went back to my room!!!  Just stay away from those scales they have in the hallway!!   Welcome to the bench Lexi!!!

Hey Lexi, You must have the same room I had. My friend stayed with me the first night and slepted on the bench seat. Not to comfortable she said, She went home the next day! Ha! Ha! Do you have Mirtha as your day nurse? She is the best. Tell her I said,  Hi! Keep us informed how you are doing and when you get to come home. Reenie
