New Pictures Posted
It's been a crazy busy few weeks here (I'm a photographer, so Christmas is one of the busiest times of the year for me) but I finally had a chance to have my husband take a couple of photos of me. I can't wait until I get to the point where I see a photo of myself and I actually like what I see. I know the day will come, but it can't come fast enough. LOL I'm 5 months out and I've lost 65 lbs so far. Lots more to go, but coming off slowly but surely.

The composite one showing the 4 shots was stretched horizontally by the board software here, so I wasn't actually as wide as it looks!

I hope you all had a wonderful Holiday & I hope to see some of you soon!

Hi Amy -
First, let me tell you that you look absolutely fabulous! The metamorphosis is truly amazing.Second, I have tell you that I really think it takes a while for us to start seeing ourselves as the rest of the world does. I think that is so multifaceted ... I think we start looking at ourselves even more critically as we start to slim into normalcy ... we tend to focus and reflect on our flaws more. I think we may even "see" more of ourselves as there is less of us to see. On top of that, I think that if we look at our own image as though it were someone else, we would be much less critical. Someone else asked me to do that as I look at my photos, it does help.
You look fantastic ... creative cropping or not ... LOL.
I hope that we'll get to meet sometime.
Be gentle with yourself as you look at the lovely young woman in your photos. If it wasn't you ... you probably would think what a beautiful smile, what an incredible transformation, ...
Keep up the great work!
Warmly,
Barb

Amy,
I can definitely see a difference!! You’re beautiful!! I am very tempted to throw all of my before pictures in the trash!! But, I have to remember that I’m on a continuum--always getting better!! In order to be well grounded, I need to be reminded from wince I came. Plus, my pictures are of special times with my special guy who will love me at any weight. Use those pictures as a reminder of the great time you had, not of the weight you were at the time.
Kelly :)
Definitely don't throw the pictures in the trash! My problem is, I have hated the way I look for so long, I don't really have any "before" pictures. LOL!
Thanks again!
