What is your resolution for this year? Or your goal? My big goal for 2008 is to save up for plastic surgery... this means, sadly, its part time job time! woo hoo. I am hoping to possibly have the first plastic surgery round by the end of 2008, early part of 2009! I love to set mini-goals... my first mini goal is to to get to my new goal weight of 145 by my birthday in mid-Feb. Thats only a few pounds away so my goal is also to start back with weight training and get signed up at a yoga studio so I can be the fittest 145 I can be!

I want to get to my goal... which is about 29ish more pounds to go.  That seems really insignificant compared to where I came from! I also want to buy a SMOKING prom dress for this year!  Look out!!! I want to maintain, be better about exercising and protien and vitamins!   Nothing that is not attainable for sure!  I am going to wait on the plastics issue for now.  I need to level out and get to my 18 month point first!!
324/180/149 -  31 pounds below goal!!!

I was just thinking about the same thing....... I have struggled with this process (much more than I anticipated), so I have several goals.  I don't dump or vomit, so I need to really get control.  So far, I have been losing reagrdless of what I eat.  That has really slowed. I think this year instead of big overwhelming goals, I am going to set small monthly goals.  I am doing much better with my liquids (some days are better than others) and vitamins, so I think my January goals will be to track everything I eat (on Fit Day, etc) and to start moving.  Because I have struggled with the fluids, I have been extremely fatiqued most of my first 4 months; but now that is getting better.   Then, February will be to eliminate more carbs and processed foods.

I dont dump or vomit either... so, as you said, it is very important to get a handle on that. After the first 6 months I noticed a big difference in the weight loss... what I did really effected the scale... 6-12 months is really when I had to 'fine tune' my eating and cut out a lot of things I hadnt the first 6 months. I think small goals are excellent - I always set minigoals and a minireward :-) My reward for hitting on new goal weight in Feb will be a trip to Orlando to go to Universal Studios, eat at Emrils and visit with some friends/family for a nice 3 (maybe 4!) day weekend! After my gall bladder surgery next week I am buckling down and working on hitting that goal ASAP!

I'm looking forward to joining a dance class, getting down to 150 and continuing to work on making better decisions day-by-day.

P.S. When is your BDay? Mine's 2/9 ... this year I turn 50! I'd say YIKES, but it's soooo much better than the alternative ;-)

Usually, I am a very goal oriented person....but, for some reason (today) I can't seem to focus in on any good, measurable goals for 2008 …. Ones I’m working on include

Short term: some type daily exercise routine weekly creative writing in either English or HTML

Long-term Weight-loss (TBD if/when surgery is approved) Walk (whenever, wherever, however long I want to!!) Dance (whenever I want to) Kelly :)

Down 65.6 lbs  WITHOUT surgery!!

This diet ticker is of my overall weightloss since 2/16/08.

Hello Ladies, My goals for 2008 -- I want to start a new exercise program , having a little one in the house ( 15 month old foster baby ) it has been really hard for me to do anything . In the new year it looks like he will be moving in with a forever family ( yes my heart is broken, but that is the life of a foster parent , it is the hardest thing I have ever done ) .  Also I want to drop another 20 pounds and like Jen I am hoping to have some plastic surgery to contend with my skin issue, I have terrible rashes and problems on the panni area. There is no way I can do what I would really like -- tummy tuck and new boobs,,, but I think I can settle for just a plain ol panni removal to help with the skin rashes. I have a old back injury issue right now that has been causing me a considerable amount of pain , I can at least say this time around " IT IS NOT MY WEIGHT " ,,  I hope to get this healed up or fixed whatever it takes.   Otherwise I am happy with the new me in the new year and pray the Lord continues to bless me as he has been doing. Happy new Year you bunch of Losers ( said with love and good cheer ) The Pugs Momma
