My son says I'm beautiful, but ...

he also said that it's really "weird" to see the new portraits of me. I shared copies of the portraits I had taken for my husband for Christmas ... I posted 'em here too ... They aren't racy or anything, but as my son said, I "sure look different." I guess I'm not the only one having to readjust to the "new me."

Having the portraits taken is helping me see the "new me" a little better.

I think I am going to have some made with the girls in a few weeks.   Just take that as a compliment.  Sometimes it is hard for others to accept our changes.  Those pictures are great!  Where did you have them done?

The two latest were taken at the local Glamour Shots ... for $39 I got a session complete with hair and makeup and one 8X10.

The photos in the Tux that I posted earlier were taken the same day at the Sears next door.

Sears only takes a few poses, but you get to see them right away and they'll print 'em right then and there.

Glamour Shots took about 45 shots, so there's bound to be a couple of good ones ... LOL ... however, they cost too much for much budget if you get the fancy paper, retouch, etc. I just opted for the unretouched me. Ben's known me like I am for almost 35 years, a few wrinkles are likely to scare him away ;-).

I can't wait to see your new portraits!

Yeah I am sure that it is hard to be sooo hot!!! You sizzle babe!!!! Yeah your family is having a hard time adjusting to their "new" mom- it might take a little while but you are still mom!!! I hope you are having a wonderful holiday season! -Juliana

I think you are right about it taking a while for my kids to adjust to the new me, but I plan to be here for a long time, so they will have plenty of time re-adjust.
