Yay tomorrow! (mercy patients question)

I still have a buncha little stuff to do today to be ready, but tomorrow is THE DAY , omg! I do have a question for those of you who had surgery at CMC Mercy - I remember always being cold in the hospital, I am wondering how the climate is at Mercy? I can't sleep if im cold, drugs or no drugs so I don't want to have problems. Thanks everyone :)

I did not go to Mercy but............... now all hospital's have " hot blankets" just ask. They bring in these lovely warm/hot blankets and cover you up.... it is wonderful  :)

HEY!!! Your big Day is Here. I had no trouble with it being cold the time I was at Mercy. They did put warm blankets on me before I was wheeled into the surgery room. You know it's cold in there. I will have you in my thoughts tommorrow and looking forward to hear about your expierence.

I froze my butt off, when I came out of recovery, my Mom asked them to bring me a warm blanket, once I got the blanket I was out like  a light.  I also took a small blanket from home which I used the whole time I was in the hospital. I wish you the very best tomorrow, you are going to do just great!

I had Gastric By-pass surgery last Wed. at Mercy.  I did not have any problems with temp.  I have not had any problems at all and only took pain medicine one time.  I hope you have as easy a time as I have had with this surgery.  With after Christmas shopping today!  I feel great.  Will think about you tomorrow.

YAY!!  I had surgery in July.. so cold was not an issue.  Good luck Lexi!!   The folks at Mercy were GREAT!  They will take really good care of you!!
