Frustration City
Okay, I am deep in Frustration City. I've been on liquids for pre-op since last Wednesday and had two family gatherings this weekend surrounded by, you guessed it, food. I am trying everything possible to keep my mind off food. I was better off the days I was at work, at least I was busy. Watching TV, no go, nothing but one commercial for food after another. Can't go to the store, I'll just buy things I don't need.
Then decided to go to tickerfactory and add a ticker to my siggy and can't get it to copy. Normally I would just blow it off but I'm feeling particularly grumpy and it's making me mad. If anyone is a tickerfactory pro, please enlighten me.
I am keeping my eye on the prize, surgery is one week from today. Pray for my family as I spiral into b*tch-mode.
Thanks for listening, feeling a little better already.

Teresa,
I can help you with the tickerfactory. You don't have to copy the text from the "Myspace" or "blog" windows, you just click on and copy the picture of the completed ticker you want and paste it in where you want it on your signature. I hope that helps!! I'm sorry I can't help you with your other flustrations.....I'm right there with you!!
Kelly :)
I'm so sorry about the liquid diet thing, we all have had to do it to varying degrees. I had to it for a month, some only a week, etc. I got through it with chewing gum and lots of water. Don't drink your water for a 1/2 hour before or after your meals, that helps.
As far as the ticker goes, I copy the middle box of code, the HTML box. It's the one that works on this site. Or as some have said, copy and paste the picture itself. I haven't done it that way and don't know if it will automatically update when you change it like mine does. Either way will get your ticker up and running.
Take care and Merry Christmas.
Ellen
Ellen, you are my hero!!!!! I have a ticker now.
I know the liquid thing is a necessary evil and I chose to have surgery on 12/31 to squeeze in this year but a little whining goes a long way to making me feel better. Truthfully I'm so excited about the surgery I would have stood on my head and whistled Dixie if Dr. Cox told me that's what it would take.
Thanks again for the ticker info. Merry Christmas, Teresa
