Welcome April. We are always happy to see fellow North Carolinians post and become active here on our boards. You are right that there are great people on here and there is also a wealth of info as well.

I hope that you will have a speedy and easy recovery with your surgery. It is a new way of life exciting and nerving as well but well worth it in the longrun.  Looking forward to hearing your new post upcoming with great news.  Lisa

Welcome!  Do you have someone with you tomorrow?  That could give us an update on how you are?  What time is the surgery, I'll set an alarm for prayers.   If you're up for it next Friday (the 28th - right ladies? I checked the calendar this time ) a bunch of us are going out in Charlotte, probably shopping, and then to eat.  We'd love to have you join us if you're up to it.

Welcome to the NC board.  Can't wait to welcome you to the "loser's bench"!   Congratulations on your upcoming surgery.  Nerves are normal.  Just take a deep breath and say I am doing this so I can live the fullest life ever.  It will be so worth it.     Let us know as soon as you can how everything went.
