burning in incision on upper left incision

Wow! Anyone else experience this? This is my only pain but wow it feels like a curling iron burn.

Ouch... that doesnt sound good!

I had terrible pain there. Dr. Savoie told me that he puts in a big stitch (he explained it in medical terminology which I forget) and that sometimes it pulls. However that being said make sure you tell either Dr. Savoie or Dr. Semerjian about it before you leave the hospital to ensure that there isn't something else going on.

Sounds like a stitch is pulling on the inside, I wouldn't worry unless you get some sort of fluids coming out from the site.

How long does your surgeon keep you in the hospital?

Yeah that's what it feels like, I came home today.

So overall how are you feeling? Did you have Dr. Savoie or Dr. Semerjian?

 

I had savoie. I feel much better today. Had a good night sleep in my own bed! And a nice long shower!

Wow you were in the hospital for four days. Is that the norm?  I was told I would only be in overnight and released the next day. I hope you were ok to be in so long?

Yes that is average for dr savoie. He told me minimum 3 days and max 5. I know I would not want to go home any sooner.
