Double Whammy! Part 2

1st appointment: That was with the plastic surgeon. I went for a consultation for a full tummy tuck. Some people, the Dr. told me, have rolls (love handles) that go into the back; I am such a person. To get to those removed requires another hour of surgery. Here is the brakedown: full tummy tuck, $3,000. Rolls: $625. Hospital fees: $1,000. Anesthesiologist, etc..aorund $2000. Total:a little over $6000.

2nd appointment: went to get a fill; Dr Beausoleil put in 1 CC bringing me to 5 total. It had only been 2 weeks since my last appointement, but I had absolutely no restriction. He is also sending me for an upper GI Endoscopy to check on the possibility of a hernia.

On a side note, I did ask if band limits were different for women; the answer: no. There are different size bands which means some hold more or less than others. There are woman who have 10-12 cc's in their bands. So if you are a woman who has a band, you are not maxed out at 7 cc's.

That's it for me folks; have a good evening.

Thanks for the update on your plastic surgery!  I am so glad I put away money for future tucks and stuff!  Hope it will be enough!!

I have been wondering just how much my band will hold, and am glad you posted the answers.  I was thinking if I already have 4 cc's and 7 is max that I would be in big trouble!

According to the Dr. I saw yesterday, he said they will cover if you are able to prove that there has been skin problems, and all other otions or treatments have failed; the surgery as a last resort.

My apron has never gone into sores; the ost I have ever experienced has been nasty smeling oozing smell from my belly button. If only I could win the lottery! LOL!!

Cheap baby powder will irritate the skin in the folds ....you don't have to tell the doctor about the powder........as a last resort,- sandpaper.; LOL

Thanks for asking that about the ban I have 7.5 and is with DR S,I was told no more and I don't think that is good for me as the last one last mth did nothing for me.Iam having a hard time not to eat alot.  I have a 10cc band So I hope I can get up to 10cc.That would be good as I would be able to get 5 more fills as he does .5 each time.

Iam going back on july 13 so we will see.it is 8mth in and down 63 he said at 100 and a year I can look into the tummy tuck and it will be cover.

have a good night.
