Appointment with Dr B's office for March 31st consent forms

I decided to call Dr Beausoliel's office to see where things stood for my next appointment which would be for the signing of my consent forms for surgery and the weigh in.  So I now have my appointment for March 31st at 1:15pm.....I can't wait...however the secretary informed me that it could be another couple of months before my next appointment which would be the actual call from the hospital itself to come for my pre op assessment and surgery date at that point.  Dr B has been quite busy with things going on with his mother being very ill and in the nursing home to having cut backs from the hospital as well as him not only doing bariatric surgeries but also general surgeries being booked in so the dates have been delayed for everyone....so here is to hoping that I am done by the summer...I am glad I called his office as I was just wondering when I would possibly be getting a call for my next appointment after already having my all day information session.  The secretary told me that there is only just one person ahead of me the day of my consent signing...here is to the next step in my process....I am very excited....

I am so glad things have started moving for you. You wait so long, that the actual surgery is usually anticlimactic.

Thank you everyone....I wasn't going to call but thought to myself it wouldn't hurt to just touch base with his secretary....and she said she was getting ready to call people so I am glad I called her instead..  I guess sometimes calling them to inquire doesn't hurt at all.

I know Charline...I am really getting excited with each step closer that I am getting.   All this waiting that I have done is finally paying off like I said before I never thought in a million years that I would ever hear from Dr B's office to begin with ...especially with all the information I was getting from the office to other people....I figured if I ever got to see anyone it would have been Dr Savoie first but I am not complaing one bit...I am happy I heard from Dr B's office as I have a shorter drive to Moncton then to Bathurst.  

I was wondering as well Charline if you would like to be my Angel to keep everyone posted on things the day of my surgery?   If you are able to that would be great....Let me know
