Topic: Help finding a support group
I am actually in Illinois but considered part of the St.Louis,MO Metro area.
I am looking for a support group to attend that is actually on this side of the river.
I know of one (maybe) but it is conducted on a night my husband works late and they are not a fan of having your children in attendance.
If anyone can point me in the direction of one, I would greatly appreciate it.

Wishing you lot of luck! I've had several surgeries in my lifetime and this for me was the easiest recovery. Stick to the rules, take care of your body and you will be fine. My only regret is that I didn't have it years sooner. I'm a native of Zalma. Keep me posted on your date and how your doing.

Hello,
I am looking for the best revision surgeon in MO. I have a lap band that was placed in Monterrey Mexico August 2002. I did really well until about 2 years ago and my weight has started to go up.
I am not able to have too much restriction due to GERD. Is there anyone out their who has had a revision, That can help?
Your help would be appreciated.

Topic: RE: I finally went through with it!!
Thank you Susan for the warm welcome and advice on getting my protein in everyday. Thankfull my hubby keeps protein powder around for his workouts so i've been experimenting with it. I totally agree with putting it in your coffee, almost makes it like a treat instead of a necessity. All i'm waiting for now is my cardiac clearance and my psych eval. I go the 5th for my echo and the 8th for the eval. The closer I get the more excited i seem to be getting. Dr. Follwell was a sweety and made me very comfortable. It helps that he's a cutey to boot..lol.

The doctor's office was amazing on how quick the turn around for approval was: 24 hours!!!
I have a range of emotions, but I am glad that I have been on this board getting prepared. See you all at support group next Friday. (I missed last month due to flu)
Topic: RE: Joplin MO
I live 15 min. from Joplin but I traveled to Springfield for my surgery and my surgeon is Dr. Chris Edwards. He is an excellent surgeon. I have used Dr. Hargroder before...he is the surgeon who did my gallbladder removal and personally, I didn't care much for him.
