WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY 1 23 10
Sure looks like the weather is going to go back to awfull after these few days of rain. Talked to my daughter in AZ and she said they were really having bad weather even warnings of tornadoes and they never have tornadoes. She said the people out there were freaking out about it. They had lots of wind , rain and temps droping to the low 50s (she was freezing) said she was glad about the sweats I sent her now. That they felt really good the other day when they went hiking.
I think I will get my green house straightened out today and get all my pots that I plant seeds in ready for planting. Im waiting for some stuff to come from Parks seed company and will start planting then….the gas heater we put in there this year is working great and will keep it a steady temp for seeds to develop.
SUSAN::::: I really liked working with Lee too. She is great. Be nice if we could work together all the time. I like some of the others but really like her. A lot of the people that are there were there when I worked before ….like both the med techs they were there before. And several of the aides.
Sorry the dress didn’t work , I think it is just a cool dress, and it was an expensive one . I don’t think I will ever be able to wear it because of the way the waist is made. Will take someone taller and longer waisted I think …

POOH BEAR:::::: so sorry that you are going thru all of this pain and misery….hopefully that medicine will move the blockage. If not don’t be against the surgery that they will have to do …this is your life we are talking about. And if it will make you not be sick anymore then you have to do it. Besides if the meds don’t take care of it, it will only get worse …..will be praying for you and keep us informed please ok? Take care of yourself first and foremost. God Loves you and so do we.
JEANIE RAE::::: sounds like you have a busy week ahead of you. When you come to the meeting on Monday night let me know how you liked the other one…I like having the info that they give out , is a great help….but I cant drive into town from where we are twice a month it is too far.
Im sure you will love those shoes. I wear mine most of the time since I got them , only to put something else on if wearing something dressy. Which isn’t often for me. Lol
That is good for your mortage leander to loan you all the money for your co pays. Believe me it will be worth it.
JO::::: lol the shoe shopping everyone has to do ….I went down one size is all the length of my feet didn’t shrink but I have known some people that have went down several sizes. I guess they had a lot of fat or swelling in there feet. All of my boots that I had before are big now but I refuse to throw them away I just wear thicker socks with them lol
Im like Andy about the kerosene heater they really do stink…but in emergency they are good…lots of gas stations around here sell kerosene and farm stores usually sell it too.
Oh was going to tell you that I DO LOVE THE THERA SHOES from kmart and for me to say I love a pair of shoes is going some….I never can find a pair of any type that really feel great on my feet until these. They don’t hurt anywhere. Love them love them.

Good morning to all.thought i would get on here and post before i go to work.it was trying to rain here alittle bit ago.sure look's like it will down pour anytime.jan sounds like your plants are coming right along for you.you sure do have a good green thumb.
we sure were busy yesterday.one of the guys from the unit came back from the hospital plus we had 5 new people come into the unit.we have 76 resident's at the moment with one lady still in the hospital.
pooh bear sure good to see you on here again.we are praying for you to feel better.
jo hope you find the shoes you are looking for.like jan said i really like my thera shoes.they sure do help your feet when you are on them a lot.
jeanie rae sounds like you are busy as ever.like they say a womans work is never done.lol.

I went shopping this morning and had really good luck. I was looking for dress shoes for work and got some really good buys. Two pairs of shoes were on sale for $13 and $16. The really dressie ones were $35. All were originally priced at $50. I also got a beautiful top for $10 down from $44. I saved $128. Of course, I would never had paid the full price. I also got a pair of Cabin Creek lace up shoes I've been looking for.
Went to Costco for Agave Nectar sweetener but it has 16 carbs and 16 g of sugar per tablespoon. I had read about it and thought it was supposed to be good for us but it isn't.
We bought a heater at Home Depot for $80 but it's going back. Just didn't heat my room like I wanted it to. I have a heater I paid $25 for at Big Lots that works really well. I'm going back to see if they have any more of them.
Last night we went to Applebees and it was just awful. We ordered the Peppercorn Steak with Asiago cheese. The steak was lukewarm when we finally got out order and it was covered in peppercorns. The cheese wasn't even melted and definitely wasn't Asiago. The carrots were so hard you couldn't get them on a fork. We don't eat out often so I was really disappointed.
Tonight I'm fixing a new chicken recipe with a balsamic sauce and also making Quino(sp?). Never had it before.
