whats happening Sat. for Jan

Having indigestion it is painful , anyway here I am in the middle of the night once again, trying to sleep but not able to so I guess I will tell you about my day on Friday…lol.

We got up at 6am and I got my coffee protein down. . And while Joe was drinking enough coffee to float a boat in I took a shower and washed my hair. Got out and he is still drinking coffee. Got dressed and put on makeup and towel dried my hair---still drinking coffee--- got everything together and put in the truck and yippee he is done drinking coffee. Lol…and he didn’t drink all of what he normally does. I have been making it a little weaker each day to try and make it easier on his stomach and heart…but he caught on the other day and told me to start making it like I use to lol.

Anyway we got to Springfield almost a hour to early. We decided to go to Verizon store and upgraded Joes phone and also got George a new phone. We just added him to our plan since it was cheaper that way and he and Joe were able to get these really awesome phones of buy one and get one free. But it really turned out that they both got their phones free. Well after the rebate is sent in they actually send you back your refund in a visa debit card lol I said well if they come back soon enough I will use them as two of my gifts for Christmas. So two of them down lol

Next I went to my Surgeons office for the first exam since surgery. By now it is really swollen and hurting. I ask him if he thought it really looked crooked to him. He thought it did but thought maybe it would look better after the swelling goes down. Told me to keep putting ice on it and got some compression stockings well not actually stockings because they aren’t on my feet , just th legs. Also a brace that he wants me to wear when im walking. He took xrays and they looked great and it looks like what he is saying is right on th mark. He said he thought I was doing great with the flexion since the leg was so swollen it was a wonder that I was able to get it flexed as much as I could. He also wrote me a script for water therapy for 4 weeks at Skaggs 2 times a week don’t know if I will be able to get back forth that much but it is only for 4 weeks.

Then we took the pieces of necklaces and bracelets to the gold place. Well some of it wasn’t really gold but gold plated lol over time I forgot which was which …but we still got 300.00 for a little dab of pieces of necklaces. Lol not a bad deal. Wish I had more of it

After all of that we stopped at Wal mart and bought a few things. At least we weren’t gone all day we got home by 2pm

I bought stuff to make fajitas for supper so I made deer tenderloin fajitas. Oh wow were they ever good. I made mine and it looked so great but as usually my eyes were bigger than my stomach so I ate about a forth of it and gave the rest of it to Joe. The boys loved it. They each had 3 of them apiece .

Well that is about my day lol what did you all do?

BEC:::: so glad that you are liking your new job..isn’t it amazing that just a couple of years ago you wouldn’t have been able to imagine yourself doing that let alone really doing it?

Do you get a good discount from Pennys. If you do that is where I would get most of my presents girl .When I worked at Hanes I got 20 percent off and didn’t matter if it was sale stuff , clearance stuff regular priced items. Plus each week we were given tickets for anywhere from 10 to 50 dollars worth of cash to buy stuff , according to our sales that week . Right before I quit I had saved up 80 dollars work of tickets plus my 20 percent discount and I got stuff off the clearance and sales racks ….I walked out with about 500.00 worth for less than 100 dollars. Lol . Pretty neat.

I havent even started Christmas Cards. . I decided that with the price of stamps and all that I just couldn’t afford it. Even buying cards in a box that’s about 10 cents apiece for 20 cards then stamps for them at 44 cents apiece that would be that for two cards you would spend almost a dollar .

Hey you said you were fixing mimi pie muffins….well I was wondering where they are.

That is great news about Pauls work ,nice Christmas present huh?

Most of the new digital cameras are as simple as point and click….and it isn’t hard to learn how to get them on the computer.

LOU::::: don’t you just love it when even in this electronic day and age that messages don’t always get to us on time. I had one message to come in over my phone and it was from two days before. …crazy don’t know why . I guess they get lost out there in cyber world and takes awhile to find their way.

I wish I had the money to even charge my credit card for a face lift. Seems like everything I go thru shows up on my face. This last surgery with the pain and all has put new and deeper wrinkles on my face. .

But so happy for all of you that can do the p.s. route on things it is exciting to see all of you wind up with great new shapes.

JO:::: I coppied the cheesecake recipe down too . It sure sounds yummy ,have you ever put any other toppings on it ?

Sounds like you might have a taste of the winter doldums lol….just don’t let it get to you too much , it is easy to chuck it all and start eating all the Christmas goodies laying around. I am not going to make any of mine until about the day before I give them all away….I have told Joe and the boys that I want them to help me get it al done and packed away and given away so I cant sit and see all of it. Like I am giving orange date nut cakes or half of one and a punkin roll to lots of people on our list. The mail Carrie I will give her a couple slices of each and also some of the other goodies that they want me to fix. …so I bought several boxes to hold stuff like that , in different sizes so they will be packed and frozen to give away when ever. That is the only way I know to keep me out of some of it. I made a punkin roll with splenda and also made a splenda ornage date nut cake last year and they both turned out well just didn’t seem to rise as much.

If you do eat something wrong don’t feel too guilty about it, just remember tomorrow is another day that we have to start over fresh in.

JEANIE-RAE:::::; oh my goodness , glaucoma? I sure do hope that it does dissapear after surgery. That will be something else.

I am really thinking about doing the census job. Of course Joe would have drive me since I cant be trusted to keep from going to sleep…lol . I guess if im going to do it tho I need to get butt in gear and do it. Im pretty laid back about stuff anymore . I don’t rush around like I use tolol maybe that is as much physical as mental. ??

Hope to see you at the Dec meeting. Since we arent going to have a Christmas party per se maybe we could all bring some sort of weight loss friendly to the meeting ,,,,it is on the 28^th this month.

Well need to get this posted ….what about that big frost on this morning. At least it didn’t get as cold down here as they said it would , our low last night was 21.…..
