WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY NOVEMBER 21
Wow another good day , two of them in a row. Not as pretty and sunny but good neer-the-less.
The boys and I hung lights on the front porch….looks pretty good , tomorrow we will get the lighted deer and the other wooden ones up out front. Then I want to tackle some of the inside decorations before next Friday…don’t think I will do the tree because that will take up some of the seating and we are going to need all we have . I am looking forward to our Thanksgivng next Friday…
Will be loud and happy and fun.
I am making progress with the knee now. Not a whole lot but enough to make me feel better about it.
I have been using my Voltaren gel that I get from the doctor to relieve some of the pain. It helps release that muscle and that is the most of my pain. Or at least the reason that the knee isn’t wanting to bend much. Still a little swelling but not a lot.
I have my big ole king size bed all to my self tonight….Joe is doing a sleep study tonight and wont be home till around 7in the am…..so I guess we will be a two family c-pap machines after this lol …look like some sort of aliens sleeping lol
Oh George has a job interview Tuesday morning , he has filled out his pell grant forms, registered in school. Patrick has it set up to take his GED as soon as we get him some I. D. I wish they had remembered to bring their birth certificates with them lol boys, but their grandpa is sending them with other things he needs to get the pell grants. Any way everyone that is praying for them I see things happening daily keep up the prayers. Bless you for taking the time to pray for them love you for that.
We are having septic problems or clogged drains anyway problems…..we have used 3 bottles of drano and so far no luck. You can hear it bubbling it has gotten better but ….Joe said when he got home this morning he would get the snake out and work on it. I think it is probably just hair and gunk from all the showers ,
We had two different people to come out and see about buying the house today….they both were very empressed and I think one of them will be the one that we will hear back about it. Will wait and see. Iguess.
I still havnet called the real estate office that Lou recommended , Joe says but it on Craigslist just one more time .not sure that I want to do that ….we have been so lucky about the people we have gotten in there so far about keeping it clean and not tearing it up don’t know if I want chance it on a third.
Andy when you and Susan coming down?? Need to get your flower. And the other ones I want you to take ok? Well if you want them…
Lou:::: yeah they talk about the first day of school with your baby but the really rough seperation is when your baby starts driving. Then they are really gone….it is like one day they are yours the next poof!!!! They are gone. Driving here and there .
Ok we will all be there on Thanksgiving what time ??? What you having? I decided besides having turkey and ham that we would have turkey and b.bq deer meat. I love it. I fixed it one year for Christmas and it was gone so fast so after everyone asking if I was going to fix the deer meat again I guess I will do it.
Will be quite the different Christmas for you wont it? It is always so weird and funny and sad when you do without one of them ,especially the first one. , I don’t know if it is because we were so young when they born or what but they were suppose to be with us forever. …
Im sure your Dad will be very happy.
JO::::::oh wow im really sorry about your food at the Cheesecake factory. I always dump on high fat foods unless I do as you say eat them slowly…but still most of the time fats get me.
I also have a ton of books to read but sure don’t know when I am going to get to them. One time when we were gone over the winter and came back…I picked up the mail and there was 30 something of the little Christian inspired love stories …lol ….I still have them I did read one or two and they are really good.. One of the girls that writes some of them is a member on here and she lives up around Rolla. She came down to a book signing at CPO once and we wrote back and forth a lot but havent heard from her in a while but I think she said that she was going to be on book signing tour most of the year this year.
I don’t think that is a downer about the burial garments…is probably very rewarding.
SANDY:::::: it really can be just milk if you don’t have the buttermilk to take the gamey taste out but the younger females don’t have that gamey taste …and if they are field dressed quickly…but it is the big bucks that have the worse gamey taste.
Sounds like you had a great week end with your son and his son. All the left overs from Thanksgiving I take and make me and Joe t v dinners… I will probably make a bunch of them for the boys this year so that when they get their own apartments they can just pop them into the microwave and have a good hot meal…
Was sure good to see you back on been a good while since you have posted,,,welcome back lol.
Well happy thanksgiving to all. Be careful if you are traveling. If you have family coming to your house ,it usually means that you are old …..

everyone have a great day.we love you all.god bless.susan.
Susan, I usually read labels and never eat high fat food until Cheesecake Factory. The words low carb sounded so good and I didn't give fat a thought.
We had lunch at Red Lobster today sharing a plate. I had 4 shrimp and half a piece of baked fish and a cup of soup. It was just the right amount of food and I enjoyed it.
No work in my sewing room today, too much running around. I did get the DVD player working. It helps to look at the directions.
