~COF Christmas Party Sign up~

Hi Peeps~

This post is for the COF Christmas Party and for us to have a general idea of how many may show up-so we can make sure and have enough tables set up and things like that. We KNOW nothing is set in stone, so what we are asking for-is if you plan on coming-to let us know and how many people you will be bringing with you.....the more the merrier....with one exception: We are asking that if you have children to leave them at home this night, due to the restrictions we have in the church where we will be having the party. Newborns are welcome, as well as teens-but for the "tweens"-please do not plan on them attending this event. We are sorry for any inconvienence this may cause, but sincerely hope that you will come anyway!~

So-on with the details:

When: Monday, December 22, 2008 at 6 pm-? (we are thinking 9 or so...but you can leave earlier if you need to)

Where: Calvary Baptist Church-Republic, MO.......address is 804 Hwy 60 West...directions will be posted soon.

*Gift Exchange: We will be having a gift exchange. We are asking that, if you WANT to participate in that (it is NOT required, however, and PLEASE come even if you dont want to participate in this event)that you bring a wrapped gift, the dollar limit on the gift is $10. We will be playing the White Elephant or "take away game" with the gift......(it was sooo much fun last year)! IF your support people want to play-they are welcome to, as well-ANYONE who brings a wrapped gift-is in the game!

*Potluck: We are asking that you bring a dish (or something store bought) to share. It does NOT have to be WLS friendly, as not everyone attending has had the surgery, but, we do ask, that your dish be labeled one way or the other so that we know. I will be putting up a seperate post for the potluck sign up-just to ensure we dont end up with all desserts! LOL.....

IF you have any other questions or concerns, please let me know! I will be posting more about the party, so if there is anything I missed-I may be able to put it in a post-so please dont be shy!!! LOL... Or you can PM or email me, if you wish.
