WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY

I did two walks today...one in the morning and one in the afternoon., each lasted 30 minutes. So I did 6 miles?? Wow I sure wish we could use the naproxen sodium. My knees are both hurting. ...it was beautiful out for awhile to day. Or at least the sun was out good and not much breeze. So it wasn’t to bad and I didn’t do that real early.

 

Been cleaning house again. Darn when you stay inside these places you see all sorts of things that need to be done lol in the summer I don’t see inside too much so im not aware of it ...but when I get house bound because of the cold.  Yucky ........lol I see a lot more of things that need cleaned.   

 

Joe ask me to fix him for him some pork cutlets for supper...so guess I will and he has to have biscuits, mashed pot and gravy to go with it lol  of course...i am fixing me a protein shake...i haven’t wandered off the path yet and have been on protein shakes and water for 3 days....no doing too badly on it t...maybe because I know that I can go off it at any time.

So guess I had better get with it just hate to mess the kitchen up ....i make the biggest mess in the world when I do something like that , all the flour used to coat the cutlets. Goes everywhere. And then using flour to make the gravy  and peeling potatoes. Yuck all of that grease...i don’t think you could force that stuff down my throat. Lol

Well almost another day on my liquid diet. Will do another one tomorrow and then if I can do another one I will. Maybe if I do a week of it I will see the scales go down some. You think? I am going to keep up the walking two times a day...as long as my knees will hold. Well today it wasn’t my knees but my hips. Darn...arthritis sure moves around a lot doesn’t it?

 

Seems like the more I clean the more I mess up....we don’t have a lot of storage space here in this little house. We only have one closet and it isn’t huge. So there are storage spaces under a lot of things...like the bed. I was trying to get everything out of there today and dust under the bed. Good grief I had forgotten we even had some of that stuff. I have a doll house kit that has never been opened. I bought it several years ago and to put it to gether but never have. Bags of things in air space bags. One has a complete bed linin set for a queen size bed. It s for the bed in the traniler. Flannel sheets and plaid comforter.

I was listing thigs the other day that I am putting on craigs list to see if I can sell some of it...like a nice little gas grill with one tank included. , Joe doesn’t like to use it...he likes charcoal grills better...anyway. I added some more things to the list as I clean out stuff lol

I keep looking I might make a little money out of all of it . lol

   

BEC:::::: what time did you go out walking this morning. I just cant get out there too early  it freezes me to death. That is cold for it to freeze your hair to your scarff....

Well how did it go working in a bakery today. Lol that would be just to to tempting to me. All those good smells. The breads would drive me nuts. I would be over in a corner with a stick of butter and a loaf of hot bread smearing and eating lol

 

You will just love Andy and Susan....they are very sweet people...they don’t talk a lot but I already told them that you talk well . lol that wasn’t the word I was going to put there but oh well it will do.. you do know how much I love you don’t you????lol

 

Well poor Barbara , bless her heart...i know she is sore. And probably more so today than yesterday.

So we have several to pray for seriously....

   

SUSAN::::: wow you really did a great job walking today...she went around the block twice today. And that includes a pretty steep hill.....hey all a round of applause for Susan....you are going to just love Bec and Paul....he is a sweet man ..

I had all of you going to Columbia on Monday not Tuesday. ....was goinjg to ask you do you want us to watch your babies for you. If we go over to let them out do we need to put leashes on them or will they return to the house good? Let me know we sure don’t mind taking care of them for you. You all watch Rebel when we are gone you know.

SUGAR:::::: a poot is it??? Joes neck is doing a lot better. Still swollen some but the  pain he had before surgery is nothing like it use to be ...im glad that it is some better and I think it will get better and better as it heals up some.

Well I really wanted to get my other knee done before the end of the year since I have already met all my deductables for this year but guess will have to wait now.

Yes will be praying for both your kids. Will pray that Rachele doesn’t lose her job, that would be horrible ....has she and Jeff ever talked about marriage or when or anything?

Doesn’t he work where she does too? Will he lose his job too? That would be awful ...and will pray for Ricky and Melissa and their money problems. Seems everywhere you look younger people are having so many problems with money....guess you need to turn your shop into a house for some of them lol   hope Skyler is doing some better. ...

 

Im glad that you all will start on getting the Christmas party going. And if Janet cant help you im sure we can find someone that will be willing to help you , that has spare time and talent for partys. I already know what I am bringing....is soup but a wonderful great soup . Lana will love it ...it is one that I gave her the recipe to a while back....has curry in it and is great. Probably will bring a couple of punkin rolls too....and already have my gifts bought...so im ready to party..... I am excited about the party...will be so much fun....i hope we have lots of people to come that live somewhere else. Like any of the girls from the North and those around Kansas City a nd Vesta and her daughter. And any and all people that have just lurked on the boards or never been to any support groups ...you are all welcome. ALL. No one has to feel left out on this. It is going to be a humdinger. Lol

  

SUSIE::::::::::::lol you sound like me about exercise. I really hate to do it . but I try to keep walking with Andy and Susan. Now there are 2 people to ansswer to about my walking so I guess I will keep it up...i look like im going to the frozen north now...just wi**** were warmer. Y ou will have to make a day and say on this day I WILL STRART ON MY TREADMILL. And make yourself do it...the y say it only takes about 3 days to do something till it becomes a habit. So it works the same with good habits as it does with old ones.   water you should be getting in at least64 oz a day....i get in 80 to 120 a day....

Oh Susie we sure will put your hubby on the prayer list. What  is his name? ..hope he gets better soon...

  

JANET:::::: how is Megan tonight? You know that you are needing to get some sleep and rest too , you might be called on to take care of Megan this last 2 months...what day in Feb is the baby due? Just remember that babies born at 7 months can survive. My mom had a set twins  born at 7 months and were born at home...they weighed 5 pounds together...not both of them separate weight 5 pounds but the both of them wrapped in a blanket to gether weighed 5 pounds lol can you imagine something that tiny.? Mama kept them in bed with her up against her body to keep them warm....they were so tiny that you couldn’t get a nipple in their mouths so an eye dropper was used. And they each drink the eye dropper full about every 2 hours...my aunt went home and make them tiny little gowns so they would have something to wear. Mama had made regular new born baby clothes before they were born and they just fell off of them...

What are angel eyes to be made out of twigs and sticks. ?? sounds like if they have enough money to rent a stall at the mall to wrap presents for donations they would be better taking the money they were goirng to spend and put it in the fund for what ever they are collecting money for ...lol sounds a little silly doesn’t it?

Your appt is the 13 or the 16 of this month? With who or whom , what ever the case may be ??? the 13rh is on a Saturday ad the 16 is on Tuesday. So if it is with a doctor I would say it is the 16^th. Lol now what time and with what doctor..?? if you are talking about Branson I will meet you somewhere earlier. Let me know. Ok?

Hopefully Megan will get out of the hospital soon and what ever is wrong will be on its way to healing soon.

You are a nut I would have probably turned into an alcholalic by now if I had half your proplems. I couldn’t help but laugh about you would break the glass and cut your hand . and that is probably so. So maybe the drink isn’t  good idea. Lol

DEBBIE D::::: sounds like you need to fall down and rest. That was a busy day. . we will sure keep David in our prayes that God finds him the job that he is intended for him....he is in c ontrol..would love for you to bring David and Jake to   COF party...would be great . there would be lots of new people for you too meet too. I hate the cold weather too Jan.  I have taken one aleve every day for 3 years for my arthritis.  Doc said one would not hurt me.  It sure helps my aches.

Good Morning Missouri!  I don't know why I'm up so early.  I was so tired yestrday.  I was going from 8 am until 11 last night.  All good though.  I went christmas shopping with a friend, we had the best day. Then ( praise the Lord) I showed houses and this morning I'm writing a contract. YAYYYYY!!!!! I haven't had a sale since September.  I have 5 listings and none of them have sold. I pray everyday for my sellers.  They need to sell and move on.  The intrest rate is dropping to 4.5% next week, so that's great news.  Anyway enough about my job.  I wanted to thank everyone for thier nice comments about my -50lbs.  Its exciting and I'm going to try to hit -60 by Christmas.  Should be doable.  I hope all is well with everyone and Janet I pray everything is good with your daughter and her baby.  Have a wonderful day everyone!  Lou (~.~)

Morning Guys & Gals...
Before I start...Please remember to keep Janets daughter Megan in your Prayers today.....She had been so sick and misserable since she got pregnant and now this stuff with all the cramping.... With all our prayer worriers out there maybe our prayers will carry her thru the next few months till her due date and she can get past some of the sickness and these cramps and enjoy the last few months of pregnancy!!

Would like to ask prayers for Joe too....He was terribly sick Sun-Tues with some sort of bug...He had to miss work Mon & Tues and even ended up having to go to the doctor Tues....The meds they gave him helped him start feeling better....Then Thursday he told me he guessed he had cold in his eyes cause they kept matting up on him....So I got him some eye drops to put in them that night when he came home....Well then he got up Friday morning and it was red as fire and really bothering him....He went on to work...He is a Phlebotomist (draws blood) at the hostpital in Poplar Bluff...And they sent him thru the ER and they sent him home....He has a severe case of PINK EYE!!..
That makes him having to miss 3 days this week!!! And right here when we just got the van and are trying to work on Christmas!!....He was so upset....But I keep telling him somethings just can be helped.....He was so worried we might not be able to get Christmas for the lil ones that he traded half his vacation time in for cash!!....
And my ADIL- Hollie( my almost daughter in law lol lol) has been sick as well....She had to miss half a day Monday to go to the doctor over some female problems she has and then she missed Tuesday for a funeral for one of her friends that died from a terrible reaction to Wellbutrin.....Then Thursday she woke up vomiting and fever and had undoughtedly caught Joes bug.....Then he woke up Friday morning and was worse so I had her at the doctor again.....

Guess I should have just done a prayer post!!!.....Could use prayers big time for my nephew Jimmy.....Not sure if you remember me asking prayers for him sometime ago because he had gotten into some trouble and had to go to prision....Well he was paroled out this summer but he has been sloppy at going to see his PO and all and she was about to make him go back infront of the Judge....Now the crazy boy is on the run and they have put a warrent out for his arrest!!!!! ..... The family is sick with worry about him!!! I don't know why he didn't do better, he hated prision and has made several remarks that he would kill him self before he went back in.... PLEASE PLEASE PRAY FOR HIM!!!

Jan....I didn't realize Megan had been released from the hosptial either...I would assume Janet took her back to her house but didn't think to ask....Hopefully she will post this morning and give us an update or text me or Renee so we can post for her...

Well I got to run for now.....I have been on the go since the day before Thanksgiving and my house looks like a tornado hit it a few times lol lol.....I proised myself I would get it under control today no matter what was going on!!

Good morning everyone, my prayers are going for our people it is so bad to have so much going on here at Christmas time. 

I had to have a place cut off my lip yesterday, dont know if it was skin cancer yet..but wanted to make sure as I had one took off over a year ago.

Jan I got a bottle of Christian Lacroix (ROUGE) perfume spray..OHH it smells so great, 3 pairs of ear rings and slipper socks...I just got back from the doctor all stressed out and there was a package from my secret pal, I just set down a cried...thank you my secret pal..

Thank you everyone that commented on the paper , that just happened to be the night there wasn't very many there, Linda W was in the hospital to have knee replacement..but we had a good time anyway..Tiny the guy in the picture had just got his surgery done, and also one of the girls, they are doing good..

I am so looking forward for all that can come down for a meeting with us...
Sugar I haven't got to see you since yours and my surgery, and Janet you went down a whole bunch since I saw you..as well as allot more of you have..

Good morning to all hope everyone is staying warm sure has been cold andy just talked to his oldest brother from ark and he said it is supposed too reach 50 there today and said send some of that warm air our way.thank you jan for the kind word's on my walking i am going to try and go a little more each day. i am getting better at it i know it take's time. andy and i are praying the snow they are calling for on tuesday does not come.we got our gift's for the christmas party just have to wrap them yet i will let andy do that he is a better wrapper than me.we are really looking foward to the party and seeing everyone again.

janet how is your daughter doing this morning we are praying for her please keep us posted on how she is.

sugar sound's like you have been a busy beaver if there is anything i can do to help with the party let me know i will help if i can.

GOOOOOOOOODDDDD MORning everyone!!!! (as I yawn and do a slow long stretch)   I slept like a baby till 8:40 this morning! WOW! I never sleep in that late...It feels really good to be lazy every once in awhile.

Rick is gone for a haircut and then later I need to get around and go finish up my Christmas shopping. I am almost done...just one grandchild left to buy something to unwrap and then some stocking stuffers. Oh I have to exchange a shirt for a larger size too. I also have to get an ornament for one more party (water aerobics class Christmas party)

Then I have to go pick up my new glasses...hope I like them. They are frame-less lenses which are supposed to give you a larger field of vision.

Well has anyone heard from Janet late yesterday or today? Im getting concerned about them....Praying hard that all is well.

And Barbara, are you feeling any better or are you sore beyond belief? How is Baby doing?

Well, Im going to go get dressed and ready to head out and see what trouble I can get into today. Pray for me that it isnt too much.

And for those praying for my kids...Thanks, my daughters job may play out because they are afraid the place may close down. And yes her boyfriend works there too, so it would be the both of thier jobs. For my other kids, my dil kinda got them into some deep financial problems and they are now trying to dig thier way out without losing their car and stuff. They are really struggling and my son is deeply concerned over it all. Anyway, your prayers to cover them and asking GOD to draw them nearer to him at this time is what I ask. Thanks once again!

Deb (pooh) You poor sweet thing, you sure have your hands full with sick ones and family problems. Will remember them in my prayer time. Was thinking of you and the loss of your brother last year, wasnt that in Jan.? Love you and bless you girl!
