~Update on Megan-was admitted~
Hi Peeps~
Megan was admitted at 3 am. I am going off of a little over 2 hrs of sleep here, but I have talked to her this morning too-
They have put an IV port and catheter in and her white blood cell count was high-showing infection somewhere and they are running more tests. She was experiencing Braxton Hicks, but as of right now, is not in active labor. Her Dr. believes that the infection is related to the Group B Strep that she carries and has had so many problems with since day 1. They have done 2 ultrasounds since she went in and the 2nd one-the little princess was sucking her thumb! (*sigh*tears, tears and more tears*).
I can assume from my experience that the port was put in due to the amount of things they will be doing to her-and we do not know when she will be released or what other testing will be done today. When I was talking to her, they brought her the breakfast tray and so she was going to try and eat a little something. I will be going up as soon as I get Jon dropped off with my MIL......he is still sick and woke up with that nasty cough again.....although, I dont know that he could get into the birthing room anyway because of his age. Dont want to chance it.
Thanks for the prayers guys-KEEP them coming...PLEASE....and if you could-God could I use some strength- Love to all, Janet
prayers will continue until we hear that Megan is better and Baby is great. Try ot rest as much as you can....wish i was there with you i just gon anothre tube of the free arthritis me . .ds ...it seems to help a lot ifwould give your back a rub down with it for sure...maybe you need a tub of it.
