O.k I know we hold alot of hormones stored in all of our lovely fat cells, heres the problem..wait let me give you a bit of the "ugly " background. I am 43 (ugh ...hate to actually say that!) anyhoo, I had 6 children in 8 years starting at 17 and finished with number 6 at age 25 (he's graduating this year..yipee) I had a tubal ligation at that time (asked for one after baby #3, dr. wouldn't do it said i was "too young", had to have 3 more i guess ) up until that my "monthly" had been normal, after the tubal it all started going to hell, very heavy. over the past hundred....er 15 years , but still manageable ..barely. O.k I have now lost 111 lb.s, and over the last 3 mo's they are going crazy..me too! It takes a good 3 day's for them to really "start" you know what I mean not enough to use the "good stuff" but too much to do nothing. and then WHAM I really mean WHAM! can't hardly leave the house! using double protection (overnites with ultra's ) and that will only hold for ,if i'm lucky, 2 hr.s. Could the rapid and large amt of weight loss cause this?! Please just let me get something for my advancing old age besides wrinkles and sag, menopause would have to be better right? I know "go to the dr" I promise next month I will! In the meantime I have my husbands chritmas party to go to, my hubby has been at the company as the "#1 guy" so the owner say's lol for 5 years and i've never gone or met the boss, getting alot of bugging to go, ...ta da!! yep y'all guessed it, I will be smack in the middle of hell week , i mean hell 10 day's at that point. Any suggestions??  please is there an herb or supplement???  help help please

I know the fat cells have estrogen and release it as we lose. I also know a lot of women who do like you are doing when they are perimenepause. I think I would see a doctor because ten days is too long. Wish I had more info for you.

Susy go onto Google and see what you can find there about some herb or something. I just wanted to tell you that i can emathize with you as i did that for about 15 years or so , turned out i had PID and also was loaded with tumor, thank God they were not cancer. also had endemetrious . long story short. i wound up with a complete , total hysterectomy.  go see your doctor they can give you stuff to help slow or totally stop the period. you are in danger of getting anemic ....

Oh honey I know what you are talking about . I had the Nuva sure in 2007 and it took away the heavy bleeding . BUTTTTTTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not the week it takes trying to get the fountain flowing oh my gosh that what my deal has been therse past week and half I have been a hateful outfit I just tell my Husband not to even bother me just kinda leave me by myself cuz I know i am a grouch and i can not help it then I tell him once I start I am not hate no- more its crazy but this time was one of the worst i am telling you I thought I would loose it plus i had stomach flu on top of it acheing all over.  My husband says I thought we just payed big money to have all that bussiness took care of and I said I did to well it took care of the clots and heavy ones I just have to have liner now have hardly nothing but i need to get rid of the PMS I need a micrle for that. Oh yeah i forgot I had tubal in 1988 bad craps back ache legs whole body headaches oh just name kind like you said you know what kind of week only back then it was like' mnt for me i didn't get much break and 7 to 10 days was like you sound.

sorry    my mom had the same deal she finally stopped like a yr ago and she is going to be 57 in Jan 15 that really sounds fun don't it just what you wanted to hear hun i do hope I don't follow her all the way on that one
