ulcer question????

does anyone have any experience with having an ulcer after wls?  What does it feel like and how do they test to see if you have one?

I can't help you but I know that Angy had one almost immediately after surgery so I don't know how that would compare since you are farther out.

I do want to say that I've missed you and I hope you get better....whatever the issues may be.  We've all missed you.

It's pretty painless to diagnois and ulcer.  It can be done by an Upper GI (barium swallow)  MRI or CT Scan or an ultralsound.  I don't know the symptoms after weight-loss surg, but prior to it usually involves pain with eating.  Hope that helps.

i know that ulcers cause pain but just know sure , i have never had one.

i think they go in with a scope to see tho. not sure about that maybe call Margie and see.
