Eatin' Good....Brrrrrr
Eating is a little off today since I'm a little down, but tomorrow is a new day and I will get thru this latest challenge...I have faith.
The Goods....
Outta bed....coffee
11 or so...protein bar
1 (I think)....tried to eat 2 oz of turkey and 2 oz of cheese...almost made me sick. Put it away....
Snack....NSA yogurt w/True North nuts mixed in.
Oh yeah, I also had 2 cherry cordial candies. Almost too much sweet
Dinner....I'm not sure yet. Mark will be having biscuits & gravy, so I may have a souffle'. Sounds warm and comforting and I haven't had one in a while.
Water is on track and so are the vitamins. Now if I could just get over this sense of impending doom.
How did my Missouri buddies do today? It's a new week with no holiday for a while so let me know how you did. Let's see I'm pretty sure Cor had....LIQUIDS!!! (I know but I think I'm funny and they like me here!)

water and vits all in protein in couldnt walk today was just too cold for me so did 20 sit ups on ab lounger several times today...my belly is sore ouch!!!!

Hey Peggy, I have been off the computer for a few days and I may have missed it but what are these souffles you all are talking about and how do you make them?
My eating is terrible and I need to get back on track so I can move this scale.This is what i had today:
Morning- 8 oz. Glass of skim milk
Lunch-Ham and cheese and lettuse sandwich on hard roll
Snack-4 crackers with peanut butter
Supper- Boneless chichen Breast with spaghetti sauce and Mozzerella cheese on top
Only one bottle of water, all my vitamins.
I feel like I can eat way more that everyone else and don't know why. Any advice to get back on track. Does it really help to drink more water to feel full? Thanks for the help. Love Tammy V.
Nice to see you again...we've talked before but it's been awhile. Jan reposted the souffle recipe this morning. I got it off of eggface's site and tweaked it a little to suit my tastes. She has a lot of good stuff but I usually change things cause I'm picky. :)
Yes, the water does help...and it can help move the scale, too. But there are always a lot of factors that hurt our efforts. I've always been a slow loser so it has been hard to see others drop weight so fast. Too many carbs and 'slider' foods keep me from losing, too. I find that most processed carbs (like crackers and bread) just slide on thru and I never feel full, then I will crave carbs the rest of the day. So I try to steer clear of those. I do eat carbs, I just try to eat complex carbs....like the souffles. I do have a tendancy to graze without really noticing that I'm doing that. That can add up, too.
You may also want to check with your doc if you feel like you can eat too much. Our bodies are amazing creations and things can happen. It may help your peace of mind if you were checked out, or at least have your questions answered.
Some people also try the 5 day pouch test as a reset. Just to get the pouch used to eating protein first again. I hear both good & bad about it, so research it first to see if it's for you.
Your tool still works (if it checks out ok) and you just have to get used to using it again. Most importantly, remember how much you HAVE lost already (fantastic, by the way) and how hard you have worked to get here. You are doing so well, you just need to get your mindset back on track. We're all here to help you....and most of us have been right where you are.
