I've quit smoking

WEll, slap me on the back and call me sister!  I've just completed day four without a cigarette.  My inspiration is my January RNY.  For a Christmas present I'm getting my teeth bleached by my dentist and with the money I save from not buying cigarettes, I'm going to have acrylic nails.  Too cool.

Next to the RNY, quitting smoking is another of the great things to happen in your life...I know cause I quit back in 93...WOW! That has been 15 years ago. It will be 16 in March! I was a big time heavy duty smokin fool too! I had smoked for over 25 years and most of that time had smoked 2 packs a day.

Im telling you, your body will thank you over and over for doing it such a favor!

I am so proud of you girl you will feel so much better getting those things out of your life .  Yeah you will be able to save money good grief those things cost lost of money and ouo go girl you are really doing things the right way sounds like.

Love ya   wish you could make it to the Christmas Party but I unerstand it is a busy time of the year many places and partys to go to.

SISTER! well i like my sister, Sugar, stopped smoking 16 years ago in March. we quit one day apart.

So proud of you , it is a nasty thing that your body is already saying thank you about. will be another way that you will improve your health as is the RNY. you are doing great. keep up the good work. it gets easier every day.

Be proud of what you have accomplished it is a great big step.

I've never smoked excpet trying to light one up out by the propane tank (no less) when I was 4... ~tee hee  Got caught too! and got the sis's in trouble! ~ha  But I am always so happy when someone is able to kick those ole cigs!
