Date Change...again...lol
Collett....Now Im on a Tue...is that better for you???
Still need a list of things for hospital and for home...If anyone interested in posting it for me...I would thank you...
Cor, i ate the dickens out cof the s.f. popsicles after surgery. and broth i like the cheap cans of chicken noodle soup and drain or when you get to eat pureed foods just take the can of chick noodle soup and throw in blender....watch baby food it is or can be high in sugar. as can the protein drinks that you will be using before surgery, they have lots of sugar in them that might make you sick and there are lots better protein post op...i wouldnt stock up lots and lots of stuff because you wont eat nearly as much as you think you will ....only like a couple of teaspoons full when you get on pureed foods you can use sugar free applesauce, sugar free pudings, jello and yogurt. for the hospital and for right after at home get some gas x strips to take to hospital with you...and some chap stick .if you have lots of gas in the hospital you can take some of the gas x strips. just dont ask the nurses lol doctor dont care...you might have to take 3 or 4 to get some relief. but walking probably helps more than anything....Bec got a timer and set it for ever 15 minutes and then would drink and get up and walk around ..hope some of this helps. and im sure others have more lol we are full of hints and tips...well full of something any way...
