Windy, breezy day up here with more to come tomorrow.  Then the temps tumble tomorrow and now they are calling for a 'little' snow on Saturday!  Since they never know it could 75 degrees or we could get a foot!  We'll just wait and see.  My cousin's funeral is Saturday and I managed to get my mom to stay in Oklahoma.  The weather is going to be to iffy and she is still so ill.  I told her I would represent her and explain to the family why she couldn't make it.  My mom and her brothers and sisters are so close that this hard on her, but she really shouldn't risk traveling as sick as she is.

Started a big project today but my attitude is stinky so I didn't get as much done as I would like.  I need to get a move on, I have wonderful friends coming for lunch next week and I really should have a place for them to gather.  I am soooooo excited.

The damage:

Outta bed...protein coffee, filled me up again, at least for a while

Noon or so....tortilla pizza...whole wheat tortilla, turkey pepperoni, and cheese cooked at 375 for about 10 minutes...good stuff.  SF pudding

Snack...protein bar and 2 slices cheese

Another snack....1/2 apple

Dinner...planning on Broiled pork and vegetables (w/pasta for hubby...I can't eat it...makes me).  That should be it for the day.

How did you all do today?  Any good stuff to report?  We do have a bunch not feeling well, some in the hospital, and Jeanine is getting her surgery tomorrow.  I hope everything turns out well for everyone.

Well my day was as usual...off to the gym this morning and did 40 minutes of water aerobics and then 1hour of water yoga...the water was extremely warm today so it felt sooooooooo good!

Then I came home and worked on a little something that Im bringing to the luncheon at Peggys. A little gift to put in my goodie bags...

Breakfast...as usual was 32 g of pr drink and 20g pr in my bar..

After workout a banana

Lunch was 2 small pcs of summer sausage and 3 pcs of cheese...about 10 g or pr

This afternoon I had another protien bar = 20g

Supper consisted of a small steak =20 g and some blackeye peas another 5g and a spoonful of rice

snack of 2 sf cookies 

Wow! todays pr intake was 107 if I added right...Ive not drank enough water yet but maybe I will get it in before bedtime...

Vitamins are never an issue...take them like clockwork at breakfast, lunch and dinner

Yowza girl...that's a good amount of protein!  I know that when we exercise we use a lot of protein so it's good that you take some in before you go.  I never could get the hang of getting my protein in before exercise, but I really should try.  I've heard it's better for us.  Way to go!

didnt get as much water in as i usually do. only about 64 oz will get more before bedtime...

im like Sugar i take my vits beakfast , lunch and dinner.

Drats....every time you post about those protein balls I mean to make some and promptly forget.  I am getting so stinking old, my mind is slipping away....see there it goes.  Now what was I talking about?  Oh well.   Have a good evening.

Better than yeterday at leaet vitamines stayes put,

Outta Bed - Hot tea with viamines

Breakfast -tried scrambled rg,hashbrowns,crispy bacon and burnt toast Nope not a no go,And darn it it was tasteing so yummy,So No breakfat ,Did drink 8 0zs of oj though.
 Dinner Nadda-yucky from breakfast
Snack 4ozs of milk with 23 grams of strawberry milkshake protein powder. Kinda taststed like strawberry milk. But i much preferee the nectars. Will not order anthing else again unles it is nectar . Nectar just works for me so much better. I was really stuipid to not order it again instead had to try something new,So now i'm stuck with 5 gal of yuck lol. Fixed beans and cornbread for supper  used baby spoon took 2 bites of beans one very small bit of cornbread and knew it was gonna be a no go to.So drinking hot tea and may try another shake before bed.It's just if i eat or drink anything it feeks like it goes down so hard even liquids and i get an instant full feeling like i just ate a 6 course meal.It is weird.And i'm gaing weight go figure. But since i took thr 40 mg of lasix around 5:30 i have peed off 3 lbs aint that just nuts. now to just    pee the rest back off lol. plus i got a letter from pcp wanting to make me an appt to go over my lab works .i know its my cholesterol both good and bad are high but i take a pill for it already if and when i remember.Lovistatin.So i know thats whats its for cuz its with cardio dr.so guess i'll make appt monday talk to him get b-12 and flu shot all in one. I do think i have an hernia because i have a bulge on left side of my belly button but i'm not a dr i;ll let them fugure it out for sure.
i am so ready to eat some good food that will stay put lol.i am craving an elk burger really bad lol. that is good for us right? least i hope so lol.gail is hunting through the house for all his deer hunting crap so he can go hunting sat morning, Nikki and Laura and i are gonna get up about 5 run down the gravel roads and by the feilds blareing the horn hollering run bambi run LOL.Think we might get shot? LOL I love Deer loin but just hate haveing to have them shot.They are such beautiful animals.I used to go with him till the time he hit one didnt kill it instantly and it cryed for help broke my heart have not went since.Only suppose to be in lower 50's here tomorrow so won't be to warm then 35 sat brrrrrrrrrrr.Hope ya'll had a good eating day and a great day

I am so glad you are going to have somebody take a look at you soon.  You have me so worried.  I just pray nothing is seriously wrong.  So just keep taking it easy.  Does the place you got your protein take returns?  I know GNC will take a return within 30 days if you don't like it.  I am so picky on protein that I can't drink the nectars or anything fruity.  Makes me want to yarp.  You let us know what the docs say and when you get appts w/ the other ones, too.

Evn'n Peggy,

Was a fair day here.... not too good not too bad.....

I was up and walking early..... it was simply beautiful out! I so so so enjoy the walks.... I still just can't believe it!  Never in my life have I felt like this about exercise!!!  I know it is just a blessing of the Lord that I'm not dreading it!

I had 18 grams of food protein for breakfast this morning.... 2 eggs and meat

8 grams in a string cheese (so far I have never had trouble with the string cheese)

and tonight I am having protein hot choc as I set here and write 38 grams

I don't think I got in all my water today but did not do bad either...

Vits will be done by bed time.....  I have used all my chewable calcium and have gone back to the others I cut them in half but they still are to big... seem to go down hard.... if I try and cut them any more they just fall all apart....

I guess it was a good day.... I could of done better but tomorrow is another day. 

I finished up a little something I was working on today for a wonderful hostess that I am going to be seeing in the near future... she is such a doll and I thought she deserved a little show of appreciation!  So it felt good to get that all taken care of but still have to finish up the other projects I have been working on... I will for sure get that done on Saturday or Sunday. 

I wasn't in the best of moods today either but I did work most of the day except for the bit of a nap I took.... I seem to want to wake up again between 4:30 and 5:30 every morning.... it's hard for me keep going all day long into the night when I keep getting up that early and walking so far let alone any other work I do.... but then if I take much more than a few minutes power nap... I'm up way too late... it's a vicious cycle! ~ha

Sugar how do you get by with only taking vits three times a day... maybe I want to do that!  I have to take multi vit 2 x's a day and calcium 3 x's a day and they won't let me take them together....  I usually get them all in but it is a pain in the bootie.... and if I miss doses it's when I'm not home and forget to do it when I'm all busy running around... at home they lay on the counter and I remember when I go by....

I have kinda gotten away from my timer again and I KNOW when I do that that the water lacks!  Me bad! going to get back to it again!

I enjoy reading how everyone has done....

Bec I take my calcium only twice a day! Here is my regimine for the day

AM --- 1 Calcium Citrate with vit D,  2 flaxseed oil capsules(1000mg) ,  2 stool softeners

Lunch ---2 one-a-day multi vitamins,  1 vit C,  1 super B-complex

Supper ---2 fish oil capsules( 2400 mg), 1 B-12 (2500mcg), 1 zinc (50mg),  1Calcium Citrate with vit D

Then sometime in the evening I chew one of the chewable Citracal creamy bites...they are so good it is like a little treat!

That is my pill schedule everyday...of course I can now swallow them whole again which makes it so much easier! I have begun to swallow some of them 2 at a time again.

Bec, get you a little pill case that you can load with your vit and take with you in case your gone out gallavanting! Then just remember to replini**** when you get home...I always have my noon ones with me!

I still think you are doing an awesome job, especially as new as you are.  You are so committed and such an inspiration to those of us (ME) that tend to want to slip back into old habits.

Now here's where I may get in trouble....our surgeon is a little different in his vitamin recommendations then some of the others.  We are supposed to take 6 Calcium Citrates w/D a day (1500 mg will absorb), 2 multivitamins, and B Complex.  I also take 2 fish oil, a prescription iron, ferrous fumarate (another iron) and potassium.  And since I have to take thyroid med, that one has to be first thing in the am, then I have to wait FOUR hours before I can start my other vits.  And since you can't take iron and calcium together, I take calcium 1st, then two hours later the vitamins, iron and B, then two hours later another calcium and so on.  So I pretty much am a slave to the regimen.  If I don't start my calcium before 2pm, I never get it all in.  But that is the way Dr. Hoehn wanted me to do my vits.  So from what I gather, our regimen will never be 3 times a day, unless you can figure out how to stagger them and get them all in.  I keep a little tupperware container with everything in it and carry it with me so I can get them all in.  It's a pain but I would rather do it then take a chance.  I know others do the 3 x a day and their labs are great, but I still do what he taught me.  That's my two cents worth. 

I hope your (our) tomorrow is better than our today was.  Can't wait to see how you're doing.
