I am scheduled for surgery on the 25th of Thanksgiving with Dr. Hornbostel... I am so excited, nervous, thankful, etc---the range of emotions is overwhelming to say the least. I will be starting the 2 week liquid diet on Tuesday! I have a 4 year old and 8 year old and just told them some of what was going on. I am a single mom and worry so much about them and what them to know that I am doing this to be a healthier Mom and be able to be more active and live longer. I just worry about what they are thinking! Any advice on the two week liquid diet?? Also how long did most of you take off of work... I am a second grade teacher and will be taking 13 days off after surgery but the good news is that I go back for just under 2 weeks and I will be off again for 16 days! Does this all sound doable? Thank you so much for your support and advice!
