WHATS NEW FOR SATURDAY
OH WOW what a day.....we started off Andy and I finally went for our walk and were going to do 3 laps and on the last one his ankle turned and he fell down , darn he fell hard too, scared me ...but he said he was ok.and so we only went two rounds again...
We talked about us starting going again in the late afternoon. So we are going to start that..
I guess he was doing ok since he came out and helped us pull limbs to the burn pile, we had it about all cleaned up and it started raining. So that stop all the work outside.
Came in and swept and mopped the floors in the house. Put up dishes and washed a load of jeans. Joe said man I don’t know how I dirty up that many jeans anymore lol I said they aren’t all yours silly , I wear them too now you know,,,
Finally rain stopped we got about an inch in that short amount of time. Got all the elephant ear leaves picked up and pulled up all the marigolds . tomorrow I need to pull all the flowers in the front flower beds that is the ones that I have my tulips in and after they always bloom I plant all sorts of seed that don’t require much water, like marigold, zinnias, cleome. Those always grow good up there.
I dug up all my pea**** orchids and also my daliahas too today. Getting more and more of the orchids, will be able to share some of them next year.....they both were so pretty this year....
Have dug up and hopeing that I have and can keep a big start of my pineapple sage...it is so pretty, and smells so good..
Tomorrow I am going to call the cruise place and see how many more miles we have left and what kinds of bargains they have. We are wanting to go to Alaska next summer but would like to go somewhere this winter too...maybe just get on the trike and drive all over in the south for this winter lol and save all the stuff we have left to buy the cruise to Alaska next summer. I think we would just love that trip...
I wanted to thank my secret pal for the really cute Halloween e card, that was so cute ...loved it , played it several times. Just so I could laugh..lol
You know I wonder if my secret pal is receiving her ecards that I have sent her.
I was sending her one every few days and she has never acknowledged that she got any so I don’t know if she is gettingthem or not....wish we could find out some way.
I ordered something I think is really neat for my secret pal...i think she will love it...
Hey do any of you remember Benny? He lived over around Joplin I think? He was scheduled for surgery a couple of times and canceled them both because he was taking care of his mother that has cancer..i heard from him the other day...nothing big to report but just wanted to touch base again I guess. So Bennie if you are lurking come on out I b et there are some on here that still rembember you.
TAMMY-AmMY:::::: did you ever find anything about Brenda? Maybe call again in a day or so maybe they had to wait till payday to buy more minutes for their phone or something you think,,,, It really has be worried tho , the last we heard they neither one were doing well....
Wish I could remember the name of their church I do know that it was in Fredericktown...

The guy here in Springfield is really a good plastic surgeon too.. and takes medicare...so that is good. I want to have t.t. done but want the skin on upper part of body removed more than tt. And would really like a face lift...
I guess I need to go and see how much itwould cost for the other two surgerys will cost and maybe go back to work and get the money saved lol

Thanks....in advance....i don’t have any girl or I would sure send them to you...i gave my bigger clothes away as I went thru them...said I didn’t want to be there anymore. I must be getting use to being the size I am now..i hold up my size 10 jeans now and they don’t look little anymore at all. I guess that is what is happening anyway...minds play silly tricks on us about this weight loss doesn’t it?
Anyway really looking forward to seeing you and im sorry I was with my daughter shopping the other day when you called. I was trying to find something and talking to a salesclerk and Michele and you all at the same time. Im not one that can do more than one thing at a time..lol

Don’t let it get hold of u first.ok....not much longer now....5 more days and a wake up...lol take care of yourself...and keep your mind saying I wont get sick....and start treating it right now ok>?

I sure didn’t notice that your neck was much different than any one of ours before surgery...jsut don’t worry about all of that , and maybe with the liquid diet you will lose some around your neck , you think
You are just too funny ,about the eye doctor. I admit I don’t see real well but I don’t have to see to know that you are a beautiful young lady...that your mother should be very proud of...im proud to call you my friend and so happy for you for being closer and closer to a new and better life.

JANET:::::::: those prayers that are prayed for us make things so good don’t they....i am so glad that you decided to stay away from Carl forever...and to not subjeck your kids to that awful mess. They don’t need to be there and hear his mouth and like little Jon is so young and impressible just no sense in him seeing that.
Bless his little heart I am keeping him in prayer so that his little mind will know how to use some of this stupid adult stuff...and not be tramatized from all of it.

Oh how much can you all spend on a used car...a neighbor of ours has a Ford probe for sale low miles too I think....im not sure on the price but I think he said 2500.00
He also has a Chrysler 5th avenue that is an older car but he keeps all of his cars in really good shape I don’t know what he wants for the 5th avenue but would be lots less I would imaging.
Maybe you could trade some of the stuff you have in storage for a car...i love the barter section on craiglist don’t you? You can get addicted to that fast...maybe there might be something on there too. I will keep my eyes open anyway for a used car ok? Just email me and tell me about how much ok?
Your little puppy sounds so cute..i would love to have a small puppy like that but I would have to teach it to ride the trike with us lol you know a lot of them take their pups with them, in a carry case on the back...lol looks so cute.
I think you are living your life really great and you have accomplished being totally different than your dad...you are a wonderful mom and woman. Hold your head high you are great honey , and we all love you and so does God...

I know I learned so much from my mom too. Not so much on cooking tho she never wanted us in the kitchen. Lol she would let me mix up and bake a cake or make the salad for supper but nothing else , but even that is fond memories too lol
She did teach me a lot about people and stuff like that. Wonderful woman.. I know I miss her a lot ,
And I loved having a great day with Michele yesterday , hope we have many many more.

ANDY::::::::lol idn’t know you could move that fast....dont know what kind it was...Joe said it had a viper head, but it wasn’t a copperhead, looked sort of like the little ground rattler but it didn’t have any rattles on the end...lol it still was funny to remember how you tiptoed our off that snake so graceful , do you think that you maybe twisted your ankle doing the snake dance and hurt it that way. Although you hit pretty hard when you fell when we were walking...going to have to start wearing te new shoes and see if those help withyour walking?

I hope you are feeling ok with your ankle and knee from the fall.

Jan you will love Alaska. We went last year on a small cruise ship. (cruise west) I couldn't have had a better time. The ship only had 78 passengers and it wasn't the most fancy but the attention you got made up for it. It was a little pricier than the big ships.You get to see more wildlife and get a lot closer to things.It was my reward for double knee replacements.This spring for my weight loss reward we are cruising Hawaii.
Jeanine you are on your way now. The liquid diet is hard,no doubt about that but you can do it. Just take it one day at a time.When it gets hard get on here and talk to us. You can do it,just keep saying its for my liver,its for my liver. Its getting me thru.

Thanks again for the prayers yesterday...I feel so blessed. I made it thru the surgery pretty well, the surgeon told Mark the gallbladder was pretty inflamed so it was causing a lot of my pain. But I sure hurt when I woke up. I remember groaning a lot and them putting meds in my IV about 3 times before I could begin to think straight. Then I got the lovely tasting liquid pain med. I finally got to head home around 11:30. By the time we got home I was hurting pretty bad so I took another dose of pain medicine and sat for a while. Tried to walk during the day and drink my water but the pain was a little intense. I tried not to use too much pain medicine because it makes me feel strange. Didn't sleep well last night (what's new) but I actually feel fair this morning, so I took some Tylenol and I'm drinking water now. But my tummy is pretty nauseated so I'm not going to eat for a while. I did want to let you all know how I was doing because so many of you were asking. Thanks again.
When I asked my surgeon if the removal would help the acid feeling he gave me that look and kind of avoided the question. He and I have a great relationship and I know what that meant. It meant I may get to see him again. I sure am tired of having issues so I hope the acid goes away. We'll see.
Jan....I am so thankful for the healing going on in your relationship w/ Michele. What a blessing. And I've never heard of a pea**** orchid, I'm going to look that one up. Got my curiosity going.
When you all get the Christmas get together organized, let me know. I may try to get down for that if the weather cooperates. I love meeting with all of you. And I can't wait until you all can come for the 19th.

Vesta that wild night you had sounds like fun!
Was going to get out and walk early but the fog is so thick I decided to see if it would burn off a bit.... it is to be in the 70's all this week.... I still need to get some things done outside.... I have planting pots to wash up and my fountain needs to be winterized too... need to pull some weeds and mulch some things as well....
Made another pot of apple butter yesterday and it turned out good. I think I have tweaked my recipe to better suit my taste....
I will bring a sample to taste for those coming on the 19th. I'm very much looking forward to that day. I think I am going to bring Caramel Apple Salad..... it's so good and something that's safe.... a diabetic recipe I've had for some time. And I'm not sure what else....
Peggy I woke up with you on my heart this morning... I am praying a quick recovery for you! With as least amount of discomfort as possible...

WOW it is foggy out there.Sure glad it wasn't like this lastnight.
Nikki had a blast.We walked the whole town here then went to Brookfield and walked some more. Wore by butt out feels like i walked 20 miles .My legs are sore LOL.There were some pretty cool houses last night.A couple were pretty scarey Nikki wouldn't go up to them.LOL . I'll download a pic of her soon as i'm done here.
Yesterday was a real bad eating and vitamine day. Next time anyone sees me mention spagetti,please just shoot me LOL. So far this morning i've gotton in all vitamines.gotta do calcium yet and protein.But hopefully i'll get it in.
Gail is down putting Christmas lights on Lauras house.Hope he dosen't fall off the roof cuz of the fog.It is starting to lift now and it sounds like it is raining because of the dew falling off the trees.
He will be getting the car set up in our backyard later today.It is really neat with the chaser lights on it.makes it looks like it is moving.I can't believe it is Nov already.This year is flying by.

Well, the new granite counter tops are in! All of my new stainless steel appliances as well. Now my dh and my youngest, Jake, are trying to put in the new garbage disposal. We figured with all new stuff (including a new sink and faucet, we would replace the garbage disposal). The house is almost 10 years old. So it really needed it. My new sink is a lot deeper than the old one, so that is the reason for them having some problems getting the new disposal in.
My in-laws called a couple days ago to say they would be in town. They were suppose to be here by Noon. They still aren't here yet. Would really like to have my kitchen picked up but can't do that until the guys are done with the tools they are using. Oh well, it will be what it will be.
Jan - it was great to talk with you yesterday. Every time I hear your voice I can "see" your beautiful smile. Always brightens my day! Great news about Michelle! We will continue to keep praying for her.
Peggy - glad you're home and recovering from your surgery. Hope you don't have as much pain today. Please take it easy and take care of yourself. Remember, if it's too much on the 19th then we can move it somewhere else. Don't feel like you're obligated, especially if you're not feeling better.
Bec - Congrats on the 7 LBS!! I know that encouraged you. You are doing GREAT! You are my inspiration! Can't wait to see you on the 19th!
Janet - Honey, I'm sorry about your Dad. However, I understand. You have to do what is in the best interest of yourself and your children. We will continue to pray for you as well. Glad you had a good day making rice krispy treats with little Jon. I know that will be a treasured memory for the both of you!
Sherr - I hope it's just an internal hernia. I had one in January. Dr. H fixed it and I was out of the hospital the next day. Will keep you in my prayers as well. Take care of yourself girl!
