How's everybody doing tonight?  Have a good eating day?  I did better than I thought I would, but my poor insides are just on fire.  The only thing I had today that was soothing was NSA yogurt.  But tomorrow is the big day so we'll see if I actually start feeling better...

Out of bed...Coffee, not as much as usual, tummy didn't like it

Breakfast.. a little chicken soup & a protein bar

Snack...NSA yogurt

Lunch...2 oz deli meat, 2 slices deli cheese

Dinner....haven't had it yet but probably a slice of pizza, we like it without sauce so hopefully it won't make me too sick.

Surgery in the am, so nothing after midnight.  Still trying to get all my water and supplements in and my calories and protein are low but everything is making me hurt, so I force something down and then pay for it.

How did you all do today?

Oh, kiddo....you are still in so much pain, too.  I imagine any kind of effort is exhausting.  Are you getting any better?  Take it slow and you can always do protein shakes to get your protein.  Make sure you're drinking your water, tho, dehydration can sure slow down your healing.  You take care of yourself and go back to basics if things are just too hard.  I sure hope you can start getting the things you need and to start feeling better.

Sorry I've been absent for a few days. I've really been struggling with my choices. So, I decided to email my nut and request information about calories, fat and carbs. She gave me some info and also reminded me that I need to be weighing and measuring food. I am totally motivated to get started with that.

Today here's what I ate:

Pre-B: coffee with mocha peppermint coffeemate (only about two sips)

Breakfast: Protein coffee (23 grams protein)

Lunch: 2/3 of a 6 inch ham and turkey breast sub.

Dinner: 2-3 oz of chicken breast

Now: Protein coffee (23 grams)

I didn't track today. It's been crazy. I had school all day then came home and our tech from Judevine was here to work with our son and he was not complying so we sat at our dining room table and watched him have a fit for about 3 hours. Exhausting. I have high hopes for this program though. We've only just begun.

I am pretty sure I hit around 60 protein though with my chicken for dinner and two protein coffees. I have noticed that my hair is coming out a bit more lately so I am thinking of starting on some biotin.

Hi Brandy...

Good to see you back and back on track.  I totally understand about making poor choices but I'm proud of you for taking the bull by the horns and getting motivated.  Since I've been trying to keep this thread going it has seemed to keep me motivated.  I don't want to get on here and act like it's all sunshine and rainbows, so if I have a poor eating day knowing that I'll be accountable to all of you helps get me on track, sometimes that day and sometimes the next day.

Looks to me like most of your days are crazy!  Then to come home and go thru that.  Did the tech stick with it during your son's reaction?  That would impress the heck out of me...and I'm glad you thing this program will help.  I hope it does.

Have a good evening, and get some rest!

I hate it when I forget to plan, and that is more than I like to admit.  On days like that I usually just pray I don't make really bad choices.  60 grams isn't too bad, I know you like more, but at least you didn't get less.  Sometimes I look at myself and think, "Will you ever learn?"

My days seem to be getting more and more hectic.

Our son has autism and yes, his tech is awesome. She kept her cool and made him stay at the table. He was supposed to be finishing a math sheet. He sat there calling her names and spitting until his bedtime. Then he went to bed. She is sooo patient with him. He's really a sweet boy, I'd never seen him act that way toward someone else before. It was exhausting to watch it. We've set some goals for him to work on and I believe we'll see some major accomplishments. This was only our third session.

Today I'm going to sign paperwork so I can start my internship for school, so here comes some more craziness in my life.

Ok, I'm going to bed now because you wear me out.  Bless your heart.  As hard as this is, I am so thankful that he has you for his mom and such a wonderful tech.  Hang in there, crazy girl!
