what if I get a cold?

My DH has come down with a horrible cold. I am terrified I will catch it and it will stop my surgery. If I get a cold and have to postpone I am afraid I won't be able to to it. I wonder if anyone else has been thru this. Do they postpone if you have a cold? I am worried  and afraid . Any imput would be appreciated. I am worring about  everything now. I have been sneezing and it is scaring me.

GeT some sudafed and stop the sneezing...if you arent running a fever ithouldnt stop the surgery....go sleep in another room...wear a mask when around hubby, spray with lysol, wah your hands , wash your hands and wash your hands....these are the ways that nurses dont catch what their patien=ts have....it works...washing your hands is the most important , dont sleep with the him and disinfect stuff...

I was going to call you today, but just didn't have enough time in the day.  I wanted to be sure that you knew I was thinking about you and for you to stay a way from the scale.  Even if you don't loose any weight, your liver is getting smaller, and that's why you are doing it.  Stay healthy so you won't have to worry about the surgery.  I wish you the best and get lots of oj.
