Hello All, It's been a while since Ive last posted but I have been having some not so good days. I cannot get in all of my protein or my fluids. I was doing good for a while but now I just feel nauseated all the time. I haven't dumped or had the foamies yet but to me being nauseated is worse. It's getting to the point where it's even hard to drink water. I know I have to because I think Im starting to get dehydrated, so I force myself to drink and I get nauseated. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to get all your fluids in. I thought maybe if I tried to do 8 oz every hour for 8 hours straight then I could get in the full 64 oz. but of course that doesn't work. SO HELP...

Well Im 10 months out and still have days where i dont get it all in too. It is a challenge daily to get all the fluid and all the protein in . No farther out than you are you are really doing great if you are getting it all in , in a day.

One way that works for me is that i take a 2 quart pitcher and fill it daily and put it in the frig. that way i can see how much i have to drink and what i have got to do . it is just sip sip sip all day long when you are where you are. I have gotten to where i can take big drinks again and it still takes a long long time.

Do you take super B complex? I was nauseated all the time untill i started taking that? at which time it stopped.

Hope i helped some but it continues to be a fight for me daily too.

Hey~ I am just 4 days Post Op, but what they told me in the hospital is to get 4 oz.-6 oz. of liquids in an hour and it will total out to be what you need by the end of the day. I hope that helps some. Cheryl
