Sharing good news
I just wanted to share a bit of good news... We got the final word from our youngest son's H.S. counselor today that he qualified for the A+ scholarship program .... this is such great news as it will take care of the first two years of his college education. We were fearful (as he was) that he wasn't going to be able to meet all the little detailed requirements but the final wording came this afternoon. He has it! I called him with the good news and he said he had cold shivers all over... he was so excited! He was upset that he couldn't get me a birthday present today but I told him that THIS was the "bestest" bday present ever! We are SO SO proud of him!!! Also, I got the sweetest little package from my good friend Betty.... YOU ROCK girlie... it sure made me smile... the balloon and congrat confetti just made it all the more better! Elizabeth i am so very sorry i forgot to post today that it was your birthday. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY. I had it written on my calendar and everything. So so sorry. But sounds like you had a wonderful day just the same. What parent doesnt get a thrill out of their child doing well. Tell him that He did a man size job by gaining that scholarship . That is great.
