WHATS HAPPENING MONDAY

I just got off work and got home it is 10:15 pm. Didn’t work but 5 hours but had a meeting for 2 hours. And we got paid for the 2 hour meeting too. So that was good.

My feet are really hurting again tonight. My toes are bruised. My feet side forward in any shoe but my tennis shoes. Just don’t understand why they don’t want you wearing them to work in.

Oh well I bought a lot of neat stuff for Christmas tonight. Stuff that went out on Clearance . Really good buys lol.especially when I get to take my discount off of even the clearance price too.

 

Tammys surgery is today , I think most everyone knows about it but if not help us pray her thru too. I just know she is going to do just fine.

 

MELISSA: How you doing sweetie? Your tummy tuck scheduled the 26^th? Are you going to be well enough to have another surgery? You have had so much happen this last year. But you will be ok , you are a fighter and a winner too. I am still praying for you I know you are having a lot to have to deal with right now. But when you are feeling better we are still here for you ok?

 

MICHELLE: sure wish you could put up a picture so we would see you instead of your shadow. Lol.

 

Well this is what I was told by a known fisherman. I really don’t know but I assumed it were true since they are paid for being a guide.

I had just said to him before something about the crappie. And that is what he told me.

  

TAMMY: Oh I love Elephant Rock. I use to go there all the time when I was a kid. I was raised at Fredericktown and when I was a teen that was a great place to go.

 

Well at least you don’t have to be in a big hurry to get to the hospital. How long does it take you to get there? What ever looks like you will have enough time about it.

 

Yeah as the saying goes , (Don’t borrow trouble) that is what my Grandmother use to tell me didn’t have any idea what she meant until I was grown. It has just been in the last 7 or 8 years that I have finally understood that. Saves a lot of strength.

  

JANET: sounds like your day was one of those that you would have been better off staying in bed

Those big ole trucks are a pain in the neck Refresh my memory again about why you have that car? Im glad that you do have it since you said your don’t have any other.

Jan,    Just popping in early before work.  Already put a pot of bean soup with ham on.  Really good in protein.  and yummy too.  I would like to cut down to part time work but in the rural area they have a hard time finding a DON.  So until they find one I will work as long as I can depending on cir****tances at home with Mel.  At the present time he is stable and not falling.  My boss lets me off when I need it.  I hope to get my bills paid off.  We had our whole house done with siding and new windows last year.  It helps to pay it off.  As you know, one cant live on Social security so the extra money helps.      My kids all live far away, so it is a real treat to see them and they planned this get together last June at our anniversary celebration.  Hard to believe it is a year already.   Best wishes and prayers to Tammy and all our new surgeries going to happen.  Got to go.  God bless each and everyone of you.  Colette

Good morning OH Board,       We got to go fishing yesterday and we got two small trout which I'm happy about. Good Morning Jan and OH Peeps~ Well, as you know, Tammy is having her surgery this afternoon. I have already talked to her, but we lost reception about 10 minutes into the call due to them traveling up to Columbia. She sounded really good-and still very excited. I hope she stays calm, cool and collected-LOL-she has done so good on her own and I am astounded by her willpower and how much she has done-I am so proud of her and cant wait until I get that call from Joe saying she is on the bench with us-WOOO HOOO....guess what Im doing? Yep-my famous baby circle dance...Im so happy for her!! Jan, we have the Suburban because #1 of the bankruptcy-we are giving it back-we owe about 6-7 grand MORE than what its worth and you can purchase a 2007 fully loaded for what we still owe on this car alone....and #2 because right now the tags are expired and we didnt tag it because we didnt have the money for the taxes and tags until the attny was paid off. I am going to be paying him off today or tomorrow and then we will be able to keep the car until the court date goes through-so we are driving Mikes adopted parents Suburban....which I am thankful for-just not used to driving something so big and bigger-LOL....it will take a bit, but hopefully will get back to driving the Santa Fe shortly, dependent on the money factor....with the wedding coming up-who knows?  Dang. We dont have any other cars-well, Mike has a Blazer, but it needs the engine rebuilt and isnt running at the moment-and he just drives it around on the property and out to the hunting building they have out in the woods.... Mike fell a couple of times over the weekend and again this morning in the kitchen-his ankle and knees keep giving out. Yesterday towards afternoon, I heard all this commotion in the bathroom and went to open the door and he yelled-Ill be right out-and I opened the door anyway-and he is down the little hallway of the bathroom-ON THE FLOOR, unable to get situated to get up....and then this morning, he asked me if I wanted to get up and have coffee with him before work-and I heard him fall in the kitchen and the coffee mug breaking-and I come running out of the bedroom-and he is in front of the fridge, with coffee all over himself and the floor-holding onto the broken coffee mug. That was it-told him that HE IS GOING TO THE DOCTOR, I am making the appt-calling his boss and telling him WHEN and then I am coming to work-and I WILL PARK THAT BIG ASS SUBURBAN right in front of his work truck so he cant go anywhere and he WILL go!!!! He wont dare do anything to his parents vehicle-LOL...mine, he may move it out of the way-theirs, not so much! So, I have called the doctors office and am waiting for a return call to see if they can do some labs before the the specialist visit. Will see. The thing that bothers me is that his ankle is very cold and discolored AND has a dent in it that my finger/thumb would fit into, and he says that it feels like it needs to snap back into socket or something, but wont-although when he tries to walk on it-you can hear both ankles and knees pop and crack-they have been doing that pretty bad and over a year now....so, dont know-but would appreciate ANY prayers sent this way for him-thanks. Went and got the girls from work last night-and they wanted to swim-the pool had filled and we had to put some more chemicals into it-but didnt think it would be too bad for a half hour or so of playing-they asked me to get in with them (all 4 were in) and so I came in, got my suit on, and got to the pool area-and instead of testing out the water for myself-believed them when they said it was nice.....Jumped in-and came out as fast-LOL-between the filling yesterday and the cool breeze-it was too cold for me. Last year-75 would have been nice-not this year-LOL.... Am waiting for Megan to call-we are going to Sams to get a new phone today-yep, I am breaking down and getting a new one. Mine isnt ringing most of the time, but will let me know when their is a voice mail and sometimes not even then, and it only charges when it wants to know-its just time...I love this phone-its the old school, nothing fancy, doesnt take pics or flip or anything-but its gotten reception where no one else can and has been so faithful-LOL...I will probably give it a proper burial~LOL So, will see what kind I end up with and how long it takes me to learn HOW to even call my voice mail-LOL...Im not good with all the fancy technology stuff, thats for sure. Well, I am gonna get off here and finish my vitamins and shake and then get the chores done and get to town....Plus I have to seperate meat and stuff for the deep freeze-so I need to get off here and get all that done and get the rest of my calls made. Good Morning everyone, My computer is so screwed up, I came home Friday to a black screen and a flashing cursor.  Guess it has to go in the shop.  Thank goodness I have an extended warrenty thru Circuit City.  My only complaint is that it takes them so long to fix it.  (I swear they work on paying customers first!) So the only time I can post here for a while is when I am at the office.  Just wanted to pop in and let you all know what is going on.  I have a ton of work to get done over the next 2 days, (I swear everyone went to jail this weekend)!   Wings I am so upset at myself.  I didnt save Tammy-ammy's number and could not find it.  I called you Friday to get the number but I guess you were sleeping and I couldnt call her.    I wanted to talk to her yesterday and wish her luck.  I know I am going up a day early so I can visit her in Columbia,, but I wanted to talk.  DARN!  Please let me know what is going on.  Tell her I love her and shes in my prayers! Jan, Mel, Lana, and everyone else I miss ya all.  I am really going to try to do the chat room thing on Weds.  I will be coming back from Columbia so I think I will be back in time.  I know we were going to try for Tuesday this week because of people going to Church on Weds nites but with me being in Columbia I dont think it will work unless I can get computer fixed.  I think that this is a really good thing we have started lets keep it up.  I know it will take time for some to feel comfortable to type but even if you dont feel comfortable Please still come in the room.  I dont know if all know how to talk while you are in there but all you do is type in the box under the chat room box and dont worry about waiting until someone stops talking the computer will put it up one right after another.  It will not cut someone off if they are talking while you are posting.  I hope that isnt too confusing.  I know that alot were worried about that when they sent me messages thru my profile.  If you have any questions I will try to get those mess.  but be patient remember I havent got a working computer at home right now!  Also if you are trying to get in and you see a box with an X in red, I know that you have to download something, not sure what but Wings and Tammy-ammy had to do this so they can  explain to you what to do.  Thanks Tammy and Wings if you can help.  The chatroom is a great place to ask questions and get immediate answers.  We dont even care if you are a lurker and just what to listen at first.  We will say hi and then wait for you to join in if your shy.  We would love for you to join in but if your shy at first we understand.  Well I gotta go, ya all take care, Love Susan PS Wings will you please try to call me tonight?   

Hey my little bounty hunter (dogetta) Whatcha been up to? You are a harder person to get ahold of than I am-LOL....I DID call your number and left a voice mail for you to call me back-figured the office phones were forwarded again or something~I will prob try and call you in a minute to give you T/A's number. I know she would LOVE to hear from ya! On the Chat Room-I, along with a couple of others-had to download the Java-version 6-it will pop up and tell you that you need it-and so get it done NOW so you can be a part of the chat room-since I have dial up (as I know some others do as well) it took me longer to download than the chat lasted-wished  I would have taken care of it B4 the actual chat, but wasnt meant to be, I guess. Its done now-so I will be there Weds, providing things go ok around here-never can tell~ Been thinking about you, Susan and how you and Randi are doing-Im kinda upset with myself as I have had a card for you and Randi, Tammy and Julia here for a week-LOL....I dont have the 2 cent stamps and dont want to put 2 regular on each one. Mornin Everyone Well it's already June 4th. Where is time going? I have a Dr's appt this am and am frankly a little worried. I think I have gained a few pounds becausei am trying to quit smoking. It isn't easy and I am having SUCH a hard time. So when I go to the doctor I am sure I will be a little embarrassed. Oh well, such is life. Jan #16 is very gross. I can't imagine it!!! I will try to get a pic up soon. I am just so puter illiterate. Not to mention I have no digital camera. So I don't know of another way to post one. I hope everyone is doing and feeling okay. Afternoon Momma J & Gang,  Not a lot to report, didn't feel well this weekend, and I hate to keep complaining.  I have a baseball sized mass right where my right leg joins my public bone....My Daddy says it's a hernia, my mom says it is an ovary, and I am afraid it's a tumor.... And it REALLY hurts.... I don't have any medical coverage, and won't have medicare until October, so it doesn't matter what it is, I just hope it goes away....LOL All my extra money will be going to pay for my speeding ticket that is due July 11th.  ***shakes head because she knows better**** Over on the WLS Singles board about 12 single grrlz have joined in this "Challenge" we all have agreed that within two weeks, we have to ask AND go out with someone NEW.  That Mark guy called me last minute Saturday night wanting to know if I wanted to go to a concert w/ him, but I had overdone it that day in the garden and was sunburned,  I really need a tiller, doing this all by hand is sooo hard, and could be how I got this "mass" that really hurts...whether it's a hernia or tumor...which cancer doesn't hurt I don't think, so must be a hernia.   I bought one new pair of undies, and accidentally got the wrong size.  Meant to get (7) but picked up a (6) by mistake...AND LOW & BEHOLD they FIT. It just freaks me out to know how quick this all happened.   6 Undies...that has been a WHILE let me tell you...about 10  years.  It sux because if you don't know what size you are, you keep buying the WRONG size and then get home, and they don't work.... I wish I could go to Momma Jan's store :) I need a bra fitting too....LOL Pray for me...please...I have to wait until Oct. to go to the doctor for this "thing" on me.   Sherr

Wow Hi Missouri board.  I haven't been here in forever.  Hope everyone is doing well.  I feel great.  I am down a total of 75 lbs since surgery nearly 7 months ago.  I am trying to incorporate some exercise into my day but without tremendous results.  Hopefully SOON!  Miss you all...take care. Barb
