WHATS HAPPENING SATURDAY

Someone said that they bet I wasn’t freaking out about the mamagram and that is pretty right. Not the time to freak out now. Will wait to see what is really going on. I have been called back for them a couple of times before. Has always been a cyst. So hopefull this one is too. I know I would never agree to radiation or to chemo therapy. Both make people 10x sicker than the disease does. I will just opt for them to be removed. Completely and totally. Not a problem with me . They are well past their prime and with the weight loss they certainly aren’t pretty lol

Just pray that God will take care of it.

Well today was a little harder going. I had on new shoes and that didn’t help but I was also constipated and that really didn’t help any. Lol

Oh MY GOSH did you all get the storms late this afternoon? We were driving home in that mess. Hail the size of golf balls and no where to pull over at. Rain so hard you couldn’t see the road. Hail hitting my friends van and windshield. I just knew one of them was going to come thru. Lol She had a clean styafome minnow bucket in the back seat and I grabbed it up and put it over my head I thought she was going to crack up .

I was so glad that when we got home to find out that the hail and heavy heavy rain hadn’t hit at out house. I just knew I would find all of my plants beat to death. Thank you God.

BECKY ARE YOU BACK FROM YOUR TRIP YET?

ANDREW WHERE ARE YOU?

CALLING ALL M.I.A.s

VESTA: Thanks I knew I could count on this board. Im not really scared because I have had abnormal mammograms before but never hurts to ask God to intervene once more.

Maybe if you could find some sort of work that was mainly sitting. My legs were giving me fits today but I think I had other issues also today.

TAMMY: wow not much longer girl. Do you remember when you came to the meeting in Springfield you were like I don’t know when I will be having surgery. Now look at you , have lost a lot of weight on your own and surgery date in 2 more sleeps (that is Indian talk) lol  You know you are in all of our prayers. We know you will be fine. God is watching you.

Good for Joes refaxing your papers for you and so glad that you got to talk to them and got the go ahead.

There is no breast cancer anywhere in my family that I am aware of anyway. No one in my immediately family anyway. So im not really worried about it till I have a reason to worry.

JANET: Hello sweetie. When you going to post the info on the resort and the reunion. It is after the holiday now. Im itching to get  our reservations made .

Thanks for the prayers. I knew I could count on you too.

So happy for you and what all you can do now. Did you find the almost new bathing suit I had in the box of stuff or I think there was one in there.maybe that went to another girl.

That is so cool that you can walk right out of the water. A great WOW  moment.

Sometimes kids need and want a really firm hand , They know that you for sure love them when  you do like you did with your daughter. Hopefully she had a breakthrough and has turned a corner but with teenagers who knows they have weird minds lol.

Did you know a good hot tub with therapeutic jets cost about that much or more. We had a great one once and that thing cost us almost 5000.00 but it had like 42 jets and 3 motors in it so it could get really powerful. Only had to drain , clean and fill it about 2 xs a year if you kept up with the chemicals right. We loved it but like fools let it go with  a house we had and sold. Well actually we had it built into a room off of the house that we would have had to tear the wall out to get it out so we let it go with the house. Lol

CONNIE: I know where you are going camping now. Or near where anyway. That is south below me The area there is just beautiful I think anyway.

Will they be able to repair your arm? Sounds pretty serious.

Thanks for the prayers , I just know that it isnt anything serious. God wouldn’t bring me this far to let me down like this now.

LANA: Hi sweetie, sure glad that you got home before the storm hit Branson. It was wild. Our store in Branson started leaking we filled 4, 5 gal buckets like back and forth. Throw it out the front door and it came in thru the ceiling , carry the buckets to the front and throw it out and by the time you got back the next one was almost filled. Crazy.

Then the hail sounded like gunshots. By the time I got home I was as jumpy as a cat in a room ful of rocking chairs.

Thanks for the info about the cysts. Im am claiming that from God that is what it is again.

No need to get excited and freeking out until I know. Just wanted all my friends to pray for me that that is what it is too. Love all of you and I know what power this group of people are.

MELISSA: Oh how wonderful to finally see you on again. I know you have been going thru some bad stuff and I remember you in prayer daily.

You know life sometimes throws us some really big curves, But God doesn’t give us more than we can handle, even tho sometimes I think he must think I am a lot stronger than I think I am. Remember anything you are going thru someone else has gone thru before and with Gods help you can get thru this . We all love you and care deeply for you

You and Terry are both in my prayers and am praying for your fil too.

We hope to see you back online soon. Big huggs and love to you.

LOVE AND JOY AND PEACE ABOUNDS

JAN

Good morning Jan and all:     Just wanted to say hello.  All is still quiet on the homefront, and its too wet to go out in the garden so I am catching up with reading and thought I would post.  I have had my daughter, son-in law and 4 year old grandson here since last Sat.  It has been so much fun and wow!  where do the kids get the energy from?  I guess we were that way too.  LOL.  Notice I said WERE!!!!!   LOL     Jan you are in my prayers.  I also have had some cysts so you will find out.  Mostly, I bet it is the change after losing the weight.  That happened to me last year.  I am due to go and get mine done again soon too.  I am having trouble with my left shoulder too.  No constant pain or anything.  Just when I move it sometimes, it rubs and hurts.  Probably some more joints going bad.  I dont know but will go and check it out.    Have a great weekend.  It looks like rain again here today.  Colette

Dear Jan and OH Peeps~ Good Morning....Jan, Oh, the horror of new shoes and being on your feet-my feet hurt just reading that!! I hope they feel better! Whats up with all these thunderstorms? It rained on and off all day yesterday, but pretty much constant from 4 pm on-WOW....  The hard rain woke me up in the middle of the night and we had a LOT of thunder-and I was okay with that-just dont like the lightening!! I laughed when I read that about your breasts being past their prime-I dont think I EVER had a prime...At least IF I did-I dont remember it-LOL....I have really enjoyed the fact that I have lost weight in that area-as I dont get those dents from the bra straps and my upper back doesnt hurt nearly like it used to!! I dont mind the size they are now-just wish they didnt "look" the way they do-LOL....BUT-since I never remember them being "perky", dont know what I am missing anyway-LOL!! I have this vision of you with a minnow bucket on your head-what a trip you are!! I guess your inventive when need be-you could be on Survivor, thats for sure!! Once when we went out to BBQ, I had forgotten the flipper-and we just happened to have a lawn mower blade in the trunk (brand new) and we used that to flip our burgers-LOL....You just do what ya gotta do-how cute!! Actually, on the resort-I was gonna post ONE more time about what it is-and why-because a lot of people are asking questions and dont realize it is for everyone-Im sorry-I have just had so much going on, that every time I have wanted to get in and put a post up-something has come up!! I will post sometime today or tomorrow to give all the details and then post next week on the rest-so we can be done with it. I guess I just assumed everyone knew by now-but even some of the veterans of the sight didnt realize what it was-and so they werent responding!! Sorry. Can I just say~~~~To our newbies that are posting on here~~~ I love reading about you and your lives-PLEASE stay with us-and keep posting, its wonderful to see ya here-Connie and Rebecca-Its nice to read your threads-and even some of our vets that have started posting regularly-(Brenda) YOU may think you dont have much to say or write about-but, WE LOOK FORWARD to reading ANYTHING from you-whether you think its interesting or not!! We enjoy you-so please stay and keep posting!! MIA's=WHATS UP?  Deb, Andrew, Julia-Come on guys-where are you?? We sure miss you and hate that we dont know whats going on-Heck-do we have to get our bounty hunter (Susan) after you all before you pop in and say hi-IM OK? Not doing much today, either I guess-weather is crummy-and Mike is still hurt. NOW-they think he may have rhuematoid arthritis and want him to go to a specialist.  Great! I feel so bad for him-cause I KNOW with his permanent back disability and his neck and shoulder-he is pretty much always lived in pain since I have known him-and he never let it get in the way of his life before-and now-he has FINALLY admitted that he just CANT do certain things anymore, and its really, really bothering him. I feel so bad for him!  Please keep him in your prayers. I appreciate it! I do have to go to the store sometime today and get that out of the way-but may wait until afternoon when I can drop Steph off at the same time for work, gas is WAY too expensive to run back and forth several times per day, thats for sure!! Well-we got Megans wedding package taken care of and reserved-and I could almost cry. Its gonna be out in the woods in Eureka Springs in this little old church (antique looking) with this bridge that goes over a stream to get to the church-I will be at the church with Aaron-and her and Mike will ride up in a horse drawn buggy!!! OMG-I could cry just thinking about it-and cant wait.  Now we have to get busy and get everyones attire done. I have NO IDEA what to wear! At least the church is air conditioned so that we wont be sweating our butts off-since its July 7th....But, its also gonna be at 11 am, so hopefully it wont be too hot yet! We are going to surprise her-and I am going to pay for her to get her up-do and her nails done-like a pampering that morning....Well, actually, we will get the nails done the night before the wedding and then the up-do the morning of the wedding....Have a LOT of stuff to do!! **Tammy-I am so happy for you and your weight loss so far-I am so glad you have the reunion today to help keep your mind off of everything-It will be great to have you on the bench!! You are gonna succeed-and I have just been overwhelmed by your willpower and keeping your eye on the prize-you are a hell of a woman-and I hope you pat yourself on the back for me!! Way to go, girl-I love you and you are constantly in my prayers and thoughts and I cant wait until your on the bench with us on Monday-the seat has been polished for awhile-just waiting-you will be right there next to Beca and Denise!!  Then we will have Elisa and then Susan and Eupthere (cant remember her name)..Wow-we have A LOT of surgeries in June-Im sure there are more-but cant remember them all~ **Lana-thought of you this morning when it was storming!! I hope you enjoyed the storm-LOL...Thanks for the inspiration regarding my teenage daughter. You and Jan have been through it with yours-and so your sharing your stories with me-really meant a lot and made me feel so much better that it wont always be like this (thank the good Lord above!!)...We will get through this-I am just staying in faith that I AM being the best mother I can be-and we are together being the best parents we can-that means something.... **Brenda-how are the vitamins doing? Are you noticing a difference yet and do you like it better than the chewables you were getting? I hope that they are working for you. Also- I just want you to know-I love reading about you-so no matter WHAT you think-I look forward to seeing your threads....Please stay on here and keep posting-and thanks for posting the inspirationals, I read them and feel touched and I appreciate you doing that!! **Susan-what happened to you? Where are you? Whats going on? are you doing okay? Hope so!! I love you and think of you often. **Krissy and Chante-Glad you FINALLY got your stuff from me. I will try and get time this weekend to call and talk to you both. It will depend on how busy I get and what time I have to make calls without a comotion here!! Love you both and think of you often~ **Connie-I hope you have fun camping this weekend-YAY....I hope you didnt get the storms we got-I HATE being in a thunderstorm in a tent-and lightening-oh, never mind- I go get in the car/van and cover my head-HATE the storms!! Mike laughs at me-but I cant stay in the tent with the lightning hitting!! I hope you have fun!!  **Rebecca-I hope you are feeling much much better today. I have been thinking about you and praying for you!! Let us know how your doing, ok? **TO ALL OUR NEWBIES-WELCOME, WELCOME, WELCOME-come in and stay awhile-let us know about you-so many people read this thread, but only a handful post to it-we would love to read all about you and get to know each and everyone of you-this is the most awesome board I think they have on OH and I, for one, am very happy to be considered a part of it! They become more than a screen name, thats for sure-they are my family-so I hope you will let us get to know you and become friends at least! Well, I am gonna close for now-have some more wedding planning to do today and some things I have to get done around here....I will talk to you all tomorrow-have a great Saturday and stay safe and dry. All my love and prayers-Janet

Good afternoon OH Board,  Like everyone else just about we had storms all night and earlier today with more coming. I'm right there with you Janet..I HATE LIGHTNING!!My hubby and kids think I'm a nut ,cause everytime the lightning goes I jump a foot and run to a dark spot in the house.I spent most of last night in my room with the tv on.I'm from the desert and I'm not used to these rain storms. But  the plants are all getting good drinks anyway. At least we live on a hill ,so we don't flood.   We're borrowing my mothers 24 ft. trailer to go camping in, but that still won't make it good for me if lightning starts up. I may need some valium or  a stiff drink or two.I'm looking forward to the fishing, and I'm dying for some trout.I haven't had trout in years.   I'm trying to figure out how to entertain my kids today and I'm about to break out the board games. My 14 yr. old went to a friends, but the 11 yr.old and the 8 yr.old are way bored. So momma to the rescue.I remember telling my 27yr.old daughter that mothers have to be good entertainers, cause you gotta constantly think of ways to entertain the kids, so they don't do it themselves in not so good ways like I did as a youngster.   I know there's a couple of surgeries coming up and I wish them all the best.Nice easy recoveries.I figure I'll be having mine sometime in November or so.It's been nice getting the info on foods, vitamins and just how you all live now that you've had the surgery. It really does help having this website.    Well to the board games I go .Take care everyone,God Bless.  Connie

Hello Momma J and crew Not a lot to post about this weekend  Worked out in the garden, got burned, feel bad...(LOL) Drinking a lot.  Lost another pound.  Behind bones are killing me.  Jan C. knows this pain too... :haha: I don't know what/why it happens but it just does.  Went and bought a pair of Crop pants today, IN SIZE (8) YES, I can't believe it....either....  I am learning to buy only (1) pair of pants per size, as I barely get to wear them and I have to have them cut down.  Thank GOD my mom knows how to sew!!!   And another thing I learned.....buy knit...it shrinks in for ya.  :haha: Nothing going on for me tonight, I am burning alive....with the sunburn...just too uncomfortable to wear CLOTHES...lol xoxo Sherr
