LADIES PLEASE CAN ANYONE TELL ME!!

I was just sitting here thinking how nice it will be to wear pany hose again, I am so tired of knee highs cutting into my legs and how about heels again is there any post ops that are now back into hose and heels? You all will probably think I'm crazy but it will be so nice to be able to wear them again. I was looking in my closet at the suits and dresses I'll be able to wear again glad I didn't get rid of too many. Not planning on buying any new clothes until the ones I have start dropping off of me, woweeey what a wonderful thought . Barb T. in KC

Barbara.... I read your post and got the biggest laugh since getting out of the hospital (for more info. read the saga under 2 surgeries in 2 weeks) as I am sitting here bandaged, stapled, swollen and limping... with the farthest thing in my mind being high heels!!!! *LOL* .... BUT... I'm postop and I wondered the same thing... I will be 2 years out in September and I CAN tell you that yes you can and I would wager YES you will! This past fall I was wearing high heeled dress boots with my fall skirts and I would of NEVER thought that I could of done that. Mind you I HAD knee issues then so I still had to be careful but I COULD DO IT!..... I was like you... hating having to use the knee high plus size panty hose and even those cut in unmercifully into my legs... not a problemo now sweetie... pantyhose bring em' on... socks bring those on too!...... You are going to be one hot stylin' mama for sure! I'm so excited for you! Elizabeth~

You know what, I was talking to my husband just this past Sunday about this. My husband is a pastor and I ,of course, dress each Sunday. When I wasn't a plus size woman as I am now, I used to love getting dressed on Sunday. I always bought my panty hose at J.C. Penney they were the best it's like they carressed your legs. Now I can't stand to wear them they feel like they are cutting me into, even the big mama ones and this might be gross but now they cause me to have gas if I have to wear them very long! I've tried the knee highs but like you they cut into my legs. Oh well I'm like you when I have my surgery I plan on wearing panty hose again. I haven't been able to wear heels for some time not due to weight but my back. Thanks for the laugh. Brenda

Hey Brenda and Pixielf, LOL, ROFL at your answers, I am serious it has been so long now, but I still have a pair in my sock drawer that's been there for about a year or so. I pull them out every now and then and tell them "just wait one of these days you're coming out of that drawer" it's a big laugh for me too.
