support groups

Does anyone know of any morning or weekend support groups in the Columbia area? I work evening shift m-f and it's going to be hard to get to those "during the week 5pm meetings".

Sheila, Those are the only groups I know about. You might check with Boone Hospital to see if they have a group that meets at a different time. Sorry I don't have any better news than this. Linda

I am in Mokane and I would love to find some people that are going through the same things I am. I don't work and could pretty much make any time, but just don't know where to go.

Hi Kellie, Although the people who come here to this forum seem wonderful, it also seems they are all from southern and southeast Mo. I am looking for some groups in our area. I know they have them in Columbia and Jeff City, just not the hours I work. I am going to keep looking. I will keep you posted! Sheila

Now, see...Sheila J...I am in Southeast Missouri and the doctor is in Columbia. Which is about 6-7 hours north of me, I actually never have seen ANYTHING being held down in my part of the world. I am down in the bootheel of Missouri and am having to to to Springfield, MO just for my seminar. I wish AR or TN would accept my insurance, it would be a LOT easier on me that is for sure. Sherr
